Probably irrelevant to this thread, but I was watching the 98 Broncos playoff games on YouTube and I kept thinking "Man, our 2014 offense ran very similar to this". Just the way that Davis ran with bruising defenders and wearing them down so Elway could put the dagger in them late in the game.

I really really hope Linehan doesn't go back to his Detroit-style. We need to get a bellcow in here again and get back to the offense that helped get us to the playoffs last year.

You mean all that the Cowboys need to do is have a spare LB like Keith Smith punch Romo in the face and break his jaw, have Matt Cassel step in and all will be good on offense?

You could even make the argument for tandems like: Nicks and Cruz, Ward and Holmes, Jennings and Nelson/Driver, etc.

I don't think having another big play receiver would hurt our team. If nothing else, having just Dez Bryant hasn't really helped aside from last year.

I agree 100%. Alot of those receivers consist of an aging #1 and young upcoming#1 type. We need to get another playmaker soon. If not this year then pleeeease by next year
