JG Offense Versus Top 5 Defenses

The problem is, with this level of offensive talent, the team should rank in the top 2 or 3 against every one of those opponents.

Hell, in the 2nd game against the Giants, 6 teams did better. That puts that outing right in the middle of the rest of the NFL.

When one watches the games, then Jason Garrett's failures are alot more appearant.

when one watches the games without looking for a scapegoat, its easy to see a QB that cant avoid mistakes and missed way too many open people this yr, WR's that run the wrong routes (or no routes at all), a 40+ million dollar RB that fumbles too much and ended up the 3rd best RB on the team and and OL that was amazingly inconsistent

Yeah and our struggles this year are unique to Dallas. Any other team that would have lost their QB for 3 games and played half their games against the 5 top rated defenses in the NFL would have done much much better offensively than JG.

If Dallas had the #1 thru #5 rated defense in the NFL and another team were to struggle against our #1 thru #5 rated defense, we as fans would surely wonder why their offense did not do better against us?

I've never really thought Garrett should leave, but if you're going to start cutting super star talents, then he has to go as well.

Outside of that, the guy just needs more experience, and offseason to learn more, and if his offense is sloppy (notice the word sloppy, things like confusion between QB and WR, play clock running out, things like that)

Having said all of that and like I've said before, if you want to start removing parts of this team that were unsuccessful, the only persons that would survive would be Witten/Ware in my eyes, excluding all of the coaches.

In the end points are all that matter. Empty yardage doesn't win games. I don't care how many garbage yards we pile up (consequently making this offense look better than it really is). Yardage without out points are nothing but time killers.

Did he win a Super Bowl? That was my only statement. Even still, Garrett had the WRs running 15-20 yrd routes with the old man in there. What other animated smilies can you add to your next post?
