Neither is Bill CowherAs much as I love the Cowboys and the 90's Cowboys, I don't think Jimmy is deserving of being in the HOF.
His career was not long enough to establish that he was worthy of that honor.
He definitely deserves to be in the Cowboys Ring of Honor but not the HOF

Well said indeed SirWell the OP just has no clue about professional football then. Johnson should have been in a long time ago.
Long time, Jimmy took the Cowboys from last place to Multiple Super Bowl wins.I really don’t think he is borderline. His contributions go beyond just winning. His draft value chart was something that was adopted by most of the league. He reportedly is constantly being visited by coaches who want to pick his brain - including Belichick. This was a long time coming.
I just hit my ignore button for him.Close this thread.
Yes that is a fact, Jimmy was the bestHe won as many titles in 5 years than Landry did in 29.
This may be the dumbest post ever in the history of this siteAs much as I love the Cowboys and the 90's Cowboys, I don't think Jimmy is deserving of being in the HOF.

The team won in spite of Switzer and you don't think Jimmy would have won a third? So now people are saying are HOF worthy based on "What If's" ?
How do people know if Jimmy would've gotten to the SB?
Chances are, probably, but we'll never know
