Everybody's entitled to their opinions. It isnt hard to see why alot of people would doubt the Cowboys for 2009, but this is still an awfully talented team. We had alot of injuries last yr to key guys, and the special teams (other than Folk and Felix Jones on KR before he got hurt) were downright dreadful and were responsible for a couple of losses by themself. DeCamillis at the least should make the coverage and return units AVERAGE.

With a solid draft and reasonable good health this team should be better. And if they really do become a more solid running team, they could be significantly better. A solid run game would go a long way towards helping us combat Romo's untimely turnovers, because you dont have to lean on him so much.

deion sanders just did his usual act on fox 4 questioning romo and witten...why he keeps questioning witten is beyond me....

.....I think I have a pretty good reason why. Listen to Norms show sometime and its obvious that there is a certain demographic of Cowboy 'fans' that are actively rooting for Romo and Witten to fail. It would literally break their hearts if Romo and Witten had great years next year, even if it meant a championship for the Cowboys. They have something personally and emotionally invested in this 'feud' that goes beyond loyalty to a professional sports team, and Romo and Witten are the enemies.

So did he give his prediction on Buffalo? One of the greatest teams of all time or just the greatest team of all time? And if they prove to be mediocre, will it only be because opposing defenses implemented the dreaded 0-0-11 defense, employing 11 defensive backs on the field at the same time solely dedicated to stopping TO and stupid Trent Edwards and Turk Schonert couldnt take advantage of it?

Trust me, I know all about it. Its not just norms show. Its basically all of the fans shows also.

Romo, witten, Garrett are the white devils in this market and that demographic is most certainly pulling for them to fail.

ANytime deion sanders is saying bad things about our team, I feel that much better. He is a horrendous analyst and he has shown he only pays attention to celebrity players who can help him make money.

his all hell is going to break loose comment was a riot to me.

JJT is probably pissed at the Boyz because he picked the team to win the NFC and go to the SB last year.

The thing i've noticed about the medias Superbowl predicitions with the NFC is that they are usually about a year off.

He also said all hell is going to break loose by week 7 because we dont have owens and roy and romo wont get it done..

I recorded it and will put it up in a few...I should erase it, I really hate the guy.

It's going to be so funny watching him melt down on NFLN when we prove him wrong. Getcha popcorn ready.

BTW, who is he picking to play the Bills in the Super Bowl?

Maybe the Skins. After all, they do have DeAngelo Hall.

my fingers are crossed. I want all those dopes to have to sit their and be complimentary to romo, witten and garrett and roy williams who is getting really in my opinion unwarranted negative shots thrown his way.

But knowing sanders, he will just act like him and romo are close and tell his we play basketball together stories. I would like to see jason witten laugh at his comments and say something back though.

Oh, you know that will never happen. We could be 7-0 and he would just say that we're on the verge of collapse.

But hopefully Mariucci and Dukes and Eisen nail him on it. :)

Mariucci? Maybe. Dukes and Eisen? I extremely doubt it. They love Deion Sanders.

Thats a far cry from what Romo was asked to do with this team which was basically 'Look, our defense might play a good game. Its equally possible they might give up 35. We have no idea. So the best way to win this game is for you to put up 30 plus. .
BS. This whole argument is predicated on the fact that the offense game-planning was predicated on the fact that the defense wasn't consistent. The fact is, football is four quarters and includes a half-time to make adjustments. Jason Garrett didn't adjust even when the defense was playing well and holding their own.

Love the hypocrisy on this board of people complaining about how Cowboy fans are rooting for Romo and Witten to fail. How quick they forget they are the same people who were pretty much rooting for the Cowboys to fail with TO? Now their whining when their getting a taste of their own medicine. For 3 years they have been whining. Or how about the Parcells-love fest. "We told you when Jones got rid of Parcells, the crap would hit the fan."

Jones got rid of Parcells? Now that is a load of BS. Jones did not get rid of him and Parcells has not made that claim but hey it fits your argument right. Fricken pathetic and you are the last to be talking about whining that is all you do every single post

"Maybe with Wade becoming full time defensive coordinator then we might see a consistent defensive performance that will allow Romo to become 'efficient'. Of course, that also begs the question as to who is correcting the penalty problems and the overall rampant sloppy play of the entire 53 man roster with a full time defensive coordinator playing glorified part time head coach."Let's also ignore the fact that Dallas was the most penalized teams with Bill Parcells as head coach. Oh yeah, forgot about that.

Do you know how to read properly? Notice the quotation marks signifying rhetoric. The same Parcells defenders were making stupid remarks like Parcells left because Jerry chose TO over Parcells and were looking for every oppurtunity to say, "I told you so" when crap hit the fan. They enevr wanted TO or Wade Phillips to succeed . These are the same people who are now saying things like, "Well, the people that wanted TO to stay want the Cowboys to fail, to prove themselves right." It's called blatant hypocrisy and their agenda is obvious.

I have and will be consistent with my opinion, that the success of this season is ultimately predicated on Jason Garrett actually becoming competent, because he was the reason this team failed last year. He was the primary reason Romo turned the ball over, TO wasn't happy, the offense couldn't establish an effective running game, the OL couldn't sustain any protection. This team didn't make the play-offs because of Garrett, not that Roy allegedly couldn't run routes. And if anybody knows Troy Aikman on this forum, forward him this message, because his silence on Garrett is absurd.

In your opinion excuses me if I don't look at you as an expert in the ways of offense you have an opinion that is all nothing more than that. You don't know what plays are being called nor do you know if the play was even ran as it should have been. There are normally more than 1 option on any given pass play and how the defense aligns has a heck of a lot to do with where the QB intends on going with the ball. This team did not go to the playoffs for many reason and I'll include Garrett but Garrett nor the offense gave up back to back 90 some odd yard runs to the Ravens now did they? yet put up points on that same Ravens defense even in the clutch to regain the lead only to see it slip away by the play of the defense but then you are so narrow sighted that you don't see that because if does not fit with your ragging on Garrett.
