No... no. No.But in a hot, super hero sort of way?

I know some of you value JJT's info, and some think he can kick rocks. But, in the event that you are interested in this week's segment, I've posted the link below. A few key points he covers:
1. He asserts emphatically that Dez isn't coming back, or at least not as a Cowboy. Advances the notion that key people in the FO have been following his workout videos, but find it to be "bad tape." Says Dez really valued getting right mentally before (attempting) returning to football, but is learning the same lesson that Greg Hardy learned and the lesson that Antonio Brown is learning now: the league doesn't wait for you. And he's now pushing 32 years old. Says guys like Dez by nature are incapable of taking lesser roles, even though he has indicated such.
2. No one can really pinpoint the issue in getting Dak's contract done. People within the organization think it's the length that is the hold up and think Dak wants small deals so that he can sign extensions 3-4 times during his career. People close to Dak suspect it's guaranteed money. JJT firmly believes that the Cowboys are going to end up tossing the transition tag on him to get a better handle on his actual value. Only time will tell.
3. X Woods had a solid 3rd season, but really underwhelmed as we all thought he was going to break out and potentially make the Pro Bowl roster. Regardless, key people in the organization think he under performed because was in a predictable trash scheme and a more complex defensive scheme could help him reach that plateau. Clearly the FO aren't zoners because we've said Marinelli was trash from almost the beginning. I guess it took average to below average guys like Darnold, Trubisky, Teddy Bridgewater, and Josh Allen to expose this system for what it truly was....archaic.

what i mean by that is Dak needs to know when to shut up and walk away from a reporter. He doesnt have to give them any ammo every time they put a mic to his face.He doesn't need to study Coop's methodology.
It's not going to help him. His agent is in control.
What you don't understand is that ammo is always there for the talking heads.what i mean by that is Dak needs to know when to shut up and walk away from a reporter. He doesnt have to give them any ammo every time they put a mic to his face.
What comments are you talking about? The only one I thought he misstepped on was, are you a 40m qb? He couldve handled that a bit better. But I cant think of any other comment he made that he made that gave the media ammo that they already didnt have, or didnt have, but would use it anyways.what i mean by that is Dak needs to know when to shut up and walk away from a reporter. I would. millionaires don’t pay $2000,000 for a Honda Accord just because they have the extra money. Overpaying on any level is just dumb for any player, not just Dak.Negotiations should be like that. I always want as much as I can for my talent. I value it and my talent makes you money.
His only difference is that he works under an Owner made cap so let the rue-age commence.
Honest question: If there was no cap, would you give one tit what he gets paid?
I think this is good for both him and team, because then if he doesnt produce better, the cowboys can simply not extend him a 2nd time.Dak wants small deals so that he can sign extensions 3-4 times during his career

If he doesn't give it, they'll make it and it will be accepted mutually.
He's doing what his agent is telling him to do and his agent is CAA.
I'd trust him over some goob fan.
Sounds like to me nobody actually knows aside from dak and agent and jones boys.No one can really pinpoint the issue in getting Dak's contract done.
Not taking a shot at you, @ClappingCarrot, but I find this an incredible statement. After all this time, all the to-ing and fro-ing, neither side can definitely pinpoint the issue?
I know you are just posting what has been reported, but I strongly suspect both sides know where they stand.
yes he does, he did murray dirty, he has taken care of his favorite players, but aside from that jerry can be quite cold with other players. The thing is he's doing it to the wrong owner. Jerry doesnt do players dirty. Dak will be taken care of for the rest of his life, his kids life and if he manages things properly even his grandkids.

His first offer to dak was 25 mil a year and no telling how much G money, maybe just 40 mil , and that was for 5 years or more.
That was a low ball offer and it made dak and his agent mad, which led to them asking for way more than they would have otherwise.
You may be right. The thing is he's doing it to the wrong owner. Jerry doesnt do players dirty. Dak will be taken care of for the rest of his life, his kids life and if he manages things properly even his grandkids.
Wow... she looks like my mother-in-law. Kind of freaky actually.

Smells like a disaster...........it is lolThis is interesting , dak & dak's agent got mad ? ... Why would Jerry push to get him signed now ?
Smells like a disaster .
There’s some truth in that but not fully. We all know the ineptitude JG had in his control of the staff, this was one big place that was apparent. He wasn't scheming any defense here the last 2 years beyond the DL.
Richard designed the coverages and called them.
Richard is the one without a job currently.
