All it would take to get RGIII, is to slip his Dad an under-the-table $100,000.

Cowboys have been selling tickets long before Johnny Football was even born. They don't need him to "sell" tickets. They sold tickets winning 4 games last season.....

I'm suggesting that they will sell more tickets with Manziel as the backup. There is no doubting he is a dynamic player that will make some spectacular plays. And with Jerry, its all about the spectacle.

These days more fans seem to identify with the player and not necessarily the team. He won this, he did that. Despite his issues, he does have a following.

Jerry likes to sell flash and a lot of fans buy into that, not the real serious fans like you and me. I suspect we may be a dying breed.

RG3 is headed for a release...........His salary next year is $16 million and it would be fully guaranteed if RG3 was injured this year.

That is why he was inactive, even in the last game of the season..........the Skins were scared he would get hurt or maybe even fake getting hurt and they would be on the hook for that $16 million.

RG3 will be released and will probably sign a very incentive based contract with somebody on a "show me" deal. That team might be us.

No argument at all...but the roles of both his Father and Daniel Snyder stunk the skies above Washington.

If they we're my options, I'd take Johnny. Watching his games this year made me change my mind about him at the pro level. i mean, the kid is in Cleveland. The O Line play was terrible this year, and he still did some impressive things with limited talent around him, and hardly any time to get a rhythm to the game. As far as his trouble issues, I get a sense that he has been miserable there from day 1. He didnt even seem happy about it on draft day. I dont think the coach liked him to begin with, and looked for any excuse to keep him on the bench. He has a quick releases, solid pocket awareness, and decent footwork. His accuracy isnt bad either. RG3 is not a NFL QB. His success was due to Shanahan building a college scheme around him. Dallas has already shown theyre not changing schemes any time soon.

Agree with you generally. But we need to add zone-option read to our offense.

I didn't know about RG3, but Cam Newton's father got Auburn to build him a new church to preach in.

Did you all read the FWT this morning? So apparently Johnny football wore a blonde wig and fake mustache calling himself "Billy" around the LV strip? I think they need to test him for more than just concussion protocol.
So who besides our GM wants this clown (and I use the term literally) as one of the faces of our franchise?

Who in their right mind would want to bring JM in here ? He apparently missed a mandatory medical meeting as part of his concussion treatment Sunday morning after boozing it up at a nightclub in Vegas the night before, in disguise mind you wig and all.

Some think he is trying to force Cleveland to trade him to Dallas or outright cut him. My question, and honestly should be every Cowboy fan question, is why would you reward that stupidity and then entertain it here?

I want to go as far as saying that if we do anything remotely close to signing him, I will hold out from watching football altogether. We will see.

Anyways I said my peace, now back to work

I hated the fact that we drafted Quincy Carter, to me, it is by the far the worst move ever committed by this Franchise. Signing either one of these bums would trump that by 10 fold in the stupidity department.

Johnny Manziel will end up in Dallas or my name isn't Gimme (OK, I am holding the fort while he is away wooing Ms. Busty).

Manziel is crazy like a fox. All those transgressions?: It's to get him out of his Cleveland deal.
Sir Jones knows it and is waiting.

Here's a food-for-thought article from former Commander and current shill for the team Chris Ccoley regarding one of the last times Griffin saw the field. Give it a read and see what you think then?

So according to the schill he had a bad game!! I get that, I understand that he has played poorly over the 2 injury plagued years....All I am saying is that if he is a FA and cheap, do you kick the tires...assuming you are not all in on Goff or Lynch?? I think he may be salvageable and could become the backup!!

It wasn't simply a "bad game". It was an indictment of a player who had no idea what he was doing out there. After three years in the league.

To try to simply call it a bad game is completely misunderstanding any of what was said.

I think anyone wanting to pair up a bad student with bad teachers is making a mistake.
