Yeah, need you to mentor Manziel, and have him stay in Farmers Branch a while !!!! Get a feeling of being part of the town !!!

He won't bite: He likes cities with running water and all them niceties. But if he wants to hide out, if he is on the run or wants to gamble in some back alley, FB is the town for him!

You have a lot to learn Manziel is a child in a man's body he needs mental help shows for practice drunk no one will touch this guy until he gets real help nothing he is doing is intentional if you believe that you are as bad as him he got a lot of people fired though his ACTIONS HE IS A RICH KID WHO JUST DOES NOT GET IT !

In a sane world you would be correct on no one touching this guy you forget who our GM is also I will bet you a case of our finest Farmers Branch turnips that Manziel is doing a lot of things to get him tossed out of Cleveland and thus out of his contract there is a method to his madness!

The only thing I wanna do with this guy is party. I think it would be painful to watch him play foosball.

Lebron said "I don't go to Vegas often but when I go It is as myself".... Translation: "JFB you're too wild for my blood homie. Peace out."

Please Jerry. My opinion of JFB is now conpletely one sided. For the love of god, do not add that fool to the Cowboys roster. I would gladly take a humbled RG3 over that fool.

All the other stuff aside, Johnny has barely (if even) had Brandon Weeden level success in Cleveland. Games hes QBd they struggle to score over 13.

I've kind of seen enough of that level of QB play.

Neither one....Draft Wentz in the 2nd if he is there, which I doubt.....start fresh..or just stay with Moore at the backup next season....Maybe Allen from Ark. after the draft....

I think RG3 would be a much safer choice and I think he'd bust his *** to prove the doubters wrong.

Having said that, JFB is just that much younger and still has quite a bit of potential of which he's flashed a few times already. If we're signing a guy to sit for 2 years behind Romo and then take over, maybe you want the younger guy? That's assuming he can take care of his issues off the field which is a huge huge assumption.

If we're just signing a guy to backup Romo next year and we're drafting another QB high to develop as the permanent replacement a bit further down the line, then I'd go RG3 and never look back. Let him back Romo up next year and let some youngster take over the backup duties the following year and potentially the starter job the year after that.

Manziel's actual play is hard to evaluate. Aside from Travis Benjamin and Gary Barnidge, they have pretty bad receivers. Even those two are not top shelf players.

I also do not think they have taken the right approach with him in terms of offensive design.

Put him with someone who can flex around his traits like Kyle Shanahan, he probably has a better shot at success.

I'm starting to think this way too. I mean, I would rather lose a mid round pick than add either of these two wastes of space to the roster and what the ramifications of that would probably mean to how we further address the position but I may actually take Griffin over Manziel now just because of the partying.

There is no question in my mind Weeden has a better NFL skill set.

Griffin is safer from a PR/off the field standpoint. I don't think he will ever be the impact player he was in his rookie season again, nor do I think he is willing or even mentally capable of maturing into a pocket QB that can function in a standard offense. Manziel, we know he is a babysitting issue. But on the field, he could work out if he dedicated himself, so there is a glimmer of potential there. This is definitely like picking which gun you would rather blow your brains out with.

Yes, but Manziel, for all his problems and distractions, is smart enough to know that Dallas is the primo team (of the universe) and he could one day lead the most glamorous team in the world. He won't squander that situation if it is presented to him. I really feel that Johnny Looseball was self-destructive, intentionally, to tire Cleveland. He understands that his continual examples of bad behavior is his ticket out of the mistake by the lake. He wants Dallas bad and he know the way out.
As far as potential, Manziel is head and shoulders (excuse the term) above RGIII.
RGIII might be this year's version of Vince Young -- stupid, a diva and a legend in his own mind.

I don't think he is smart enough I think the guy has a drinking problem and looks like he is not going to stop. I don't want rejects plan and simple especially at a position like QB. it is one thing to get s DE or RB they are not looked at as the leader of the team the focal point, the QB is and Johnny Football has been a joke since day 1. I want no part of this messed up individual. He can go party all he wants, get drunk and act like a fool as long is it is not in Dallas I don't care what the fool does. This team has enough on their plate without brining this moron in

Nobody is saying Johnny Looseball has his head on straight. But with our GM, this certainly seems like a deal will be done this offseason. Johnny Looseball backing up the aging and brittle Tony Romo. Drama!

and all I'm saying is I hope not. Personally I don't think it is a given that it will happen. I think the guy is a waste of time and not a person you can depend on.

Correct, correct, correct. Yet, you cannot leave our GM out of the equation. He is the mad genius of the NFL and he will do whatever it takes to sell more seats.

read this about someone cutting ties to Johnny Looseball: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...om&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial

Not taking anything out, if Dallas signs him then I will put that on Jerry. I will not sit here and justify it. Manziel in my view has some serious issues, you don't come out of rehab and then continue to drink. To hear some say he is only doing it to get out of Cleveland? Please the guy is a train wreck waiting to happen and I just hope it is somewhere else and not in Dallas. This is a 4-12 team they don't need the distraction and the head cases they need to get players in here who are actually serious about wanting to win and willing to do what ever it takes to win games.
