Doubling down on Dak and hoping OBJ can take him over the top is stupid. As is letting important pieces of the defense go.

My opinion on Wilson, was it him or Quinn's use of him.
Great on the blitz, but it wasn't like he was a ball hawk. I am not sure about his pass coverage, was it good or average or under whelming?

Could another player be plugged in?

I prefer he is here, but at what cost?

LVE, he will test the market and see his value. Will he give calls a chance to match. If not, at least bring a possible comp pick, depending any offset signings.
I also would be fine if he stays.

Wilson was a beast before Quinn arrived, jsut underutilized. Dude was making plays on that historically bad Mike Nolan ran defense

Just saying Wilson was your 3rd safety. LVE was your starting MLB, so losing both stinks.

But I can get Vonn Bell at safety and another MLB for cheaper. I don’t break the bank on either is all I’m saying

You undervalue those two defenders greatly. LVE carried our run D late last season and Wilson was at all-pro level almost all season. Kearse is better in coverage but isn’t a long term answer at safety like DW is.

Wilson was more than just a safety. He was an enforcer in the box.

My biggest issue is with how they’re budgeting their cap money.

I think they’re managing resources poorly.

I would at least like to have the option of keeping him instead of having $60 million tied up in quarterback and running back.

agree. Tagging 20 really hurts us. Thats 10 mill instantly gone. I felt we can sign 2 running backs for what we tagged 20 for.
