Josh Allen extended by Buffalo

This is why you don't hit the panic button and just wait and watch the market climb. This is also why you don't wait to sign a player you're sure is a franchise player.
stephen jones said as much. they could have had him at about 30M average, but he was being tough negotiator, while giving in to Zeke's demands....

How on Earth are they going to build a team around him?

Like others have in the past, restructuring of contracts including Allen contract to free up cash to be able to retain some key players and FA. Teams would not do these deals if they felt there was no way to get other deals done.

I was being ultra sarcastic ;)

Rising cap because of the TV/steaming deals and any contending team will have to have a wunderkind QB on his rookie deal or be paying in that 43M range.

They made this all about the QB with their rules changes, now they can pay for it.

Allen is still a pretty mobile QB and takes his hits, what happens if he's sidelined? Building around him won't be the issue.

daks got 160mil guaranteed? less years ...no trade clauses etc..it still far more then qbs above him..
that's how NFL works, those above him, got contracts sooner, now they are up for renegotiation, so its a cycle...give it a couple of years, with Jackson, Mayfield, Burrow, Rodgers, Wilson all coming up in the next 2 years.

No they wasn't. You're not going to find many people that would believe that.

If you look at it most would agree that his rookie season was the best version of him we've seen.

more yards and more TDs in 2019 but somehow he’s chasing the ghost of a rookie season  unless of course you’re arguing team success. Which is a completely different argument

You just can't do it can ya? You can't see past that Star.

Dak isn't going to see this, ya know? He's not going to get mad at you for looking at things objectively. In fact, he doesn't even know you exist.
I am just saying Allen has had one great season as did Dak. One isnt deserving of a contract and one is in your eyes. Im keeping this simple for you. Do you not see the flaw in your logic?
