Correct result. He said she said with zero corroboration should always end up in a not guilty as the government has the only burden of proof

Still refreshing ESPN's NFL homepage...and nothing. The article will probably be buried in the bottom of the page at mid-night. They're the CNN of the sports world.

Do you honestly think that this is a "big" story as far as the NFL is concerned? Why would ESPN push this story about someone who nobody has ever heard of. The only reason Lucky was reported on is because he got a ton of attention with his "kidnapped dog" thing

Lewis was adamant from the jump and demanded his day in court...... most guys will just take a deal, any deal to avoid a jury

Next one up is DWilson and his exaggerated charges

If Lewis had been found guilty they would have broken into live TV to report it

DA's are political animals. No DA is going to go light on any DV incident no matter how little evidence there is since right now the claim that the woman is always right has too much power to it.
They might have to start doing Grand Jury type screenings for non-murders. DAs are too politically motivated.

I think it's obvious DV has a higher rate of false allegations than most other crimes.

Well, buckle your seat belt, buckaroo, because I'm about to take you for a ride:

He's a Dallas Cowboy. It doesn't matter if he's the second punter clinging to the 90th spot on the roster. Dallas dirt sells...not Dallas feel good stories. Reporting the league's goings-on, even-handily is not in their intere$t. .

If he was guilty ESPN would damn sure push the story, wether he was heard of or not.
