I'm not defending, or condemning Jerry. How something reads is dependent on how the reader chooses to interpret it. Jerry is a loose cannon and often makes comments that are wide open to interpretation. This is a lightning rod topic that gets emotions boiling and things will be interpreted through that emotional lense.

I don't know if Jerry feels that kinda way, or if he doesn't. If I was convinced he did feel that kind of way I would be done with him and his team.

A quick google search shows JJ has a bit of a habit saying stupid stuff like this. Not that it makes it right. He’s gotta be better though it’s just a terrible, terrible look.

I really hope he addresses this with the players rather quickly.
