All his BS about negative plays, hyping on protecting the ball, he has taken a game breaking RB and turned him into an average RB. Thanks a lot BP.

I can't see blaming Parcells for JJ's slow start to the year.

JJ has to step it up. He hasnt proven anything this season yet, and people cant just revert back to last years success.

Im starting to wonder. I understand that defenses are paying more attention to JJ, but you would think by now he would've broken at least one big gainer and show those same sweet feet we saw last year. Maybe Dorsett was right. I really dont have any other suggestions. But JJ certainly is running more conservatively. He's still running hard but not with the same flair we saw last year.

Maybe JJ isn't as good as we expected.......he seemed to put a little bulk on and lost a little zip and shake.....

Everything he has done this year is with BP's approval. The extra weight and everything. what has it accomplished?

IMO...it's not about being "as good", he just looks different as a runner. Maybe it's the muscle gain as you said. Last season he was good for AT LEAST one dazzling run per game. And in some games, he had 3-4 or even more.

I just think JJ got overhyped. Im a culprit of overhyping him myself....I have to say I like what I see out of Tyson Thompson though..

guys our O-line is getting owned up front. I think that is the biggest factor. Our O-line has been disappointing in the running game all year long.

Here we go.. BLAME JJ.

The blame is the OL. No running lanes what so ever. People keep talking about our improved OL play, well I don't see it.

I had a poll predicting JJ's first 100 yard game and a lot of people picked Oakland, but I picked week 6 against the Giants. I saw the Raiders do a nice job stopping the Pats run, so I knew they were going to be tough. Still, I wish we would play TT a litle more, especially instead of Barber. Cowboys might have 2 TDs instead of 2 FGs if they would stop bringing in Barber on 3rd and short.

Let's see Tyson is a guy who can hit the hole quickly, get ya some quick yards, a faster guy than Barber, but much less dependable when it comes to mental mistakes and blocking.

Oh.... so I know what we can do.... let's take Tyson out of the game on 3rd and short, put Barber in both times, and then... here's the best part.. let's throw Tyson back in on a 3rd and long and watch him not pickup the blitz. Now we can get mad at Tyson, never play him again, and go with the less effective Barber.

Wait.... we can still play A-Train. No, no we can't, because the mofo is inactive even though he looks like an obvious upgrade over what we have at depth right now.

Great management there Parcells! You show 'em how it's done! :shootme:

I think everything from the managment of the RB's to the play of the RB's has been noted. Perhaps were not set for the enxt 10 years like we all thought.

Looks like a smaller Troy Hambrick. Do we need to draft a new RB? He looks terrible !!!

Reggie Bush or DeAngelo Williams, PLEASE! But we all know we're gonna be with JJ for at least a couple more years.
