No. As was said in another thread, I thought the coaching was good on the defensive side of the ball. This surprised me, because I thought it would be the defensive coaching that cost us this game, but instead it was the offensive side that was the problem today. But, the offensive line was just horrible today. This was the 31st ranked defense in the league. The only thing that scared me about the Raiders was the offense and we contained them. Unfortunately, our offense played horrible.
I just think the coaching on both sides of the ball is lacking the ability to exploit the weaknesses of other teams. It's not the execution I'm concerned about. The point is, if you're executing plays against their strength as opposed to their weaknesses, then that is bad coaching.
agreed. defense looked like they were going to blow it early and tightened up.
Offense has been good in past games, this game they struggled. You have to realize, oakland has been in every game they lost. this time they got it together, their defense tightened up and they look like they corrected some problem areas.
Still, THIS game i was suprised with some of the play calling, the other games i have loved the offensive play calling, today, it seemed like something was missing. but watching on tv, you dont get to see eveything, maybe they were taking away the middle to deep pass and forcing us to change up.
Also, Key was being held all the time, that was rediculous....raiders sghould have got called for a lot of holding they got away with.
