Hoov said:Didnt BP say that a lot of teams are doing run blitzing now. how many backs are getting 100 yard games, not many. its happening around the league, not just with our team
SultanOfSix said:LOL. The guy on the other team was averaging 3 yards per carry before this game. What does he end up with? 127.
I'm sorry, but our coaching was disgraceful this game.
Hoov said:so you have compliant about our defense ? we gave up one TD, their kicker made 4 fg, he missed 2 he should have made against philly. their te had 100 yards against philly. Moss had those 2 big plays on us, then we made adjustments and did better, probably why they were able to run the ball, cause we were sitting abck in coverage more.
did anyone think the raiders would only score 19 point on us ???
SultanOfSix said:No. As was said in another thread, I thought the coaching was good on the defensive side of the ball. This surprised me, because I thought it would be the defensive coaching that cost us this game, but instead it was the offensive side that was the problem today. But, the offensive line was just horrible today. This was the 31st ranked defense in the league. The only thing that scared me about the Raiders was the offense and we contained them. Unfortunately, our offense played horrible.
I just think the coaching on both sides of the ball is lacking the ability to exploit the weaknesses of other teams. It's not the execution I'm concerned about. The point is, if you're executing plays against their strength as opposed to their weaknesses, then that is bad coaching.
