Bursitis is NOT a major knee injury.

Henry wasn't on any of the NFL team injury reports late in the season.

If anything, he was using it as an excuse.

Parcells did not put many guys on the injury list. TO was not on the injury list yet we know he had hand surgery. I would also point out I did not say anything about a MAJOR knee injury. Myself I think the guy is a solid CB when healthy and he was not. If you don't like Henry well that is your right I'm not going to tell you who you should like or not.

Bill Parcells said veteran corner Anthony Henry has been trying to play through a sore knee, which might be the reason why he's been having problems running with receivers on those deep patterns of late. Henry has some swelling on his knee due to a bursa sac problem. "Nothing structural," Parcells said. "I'm concerned a little about that, but he looked better this week." Henry has been wearing an elastic sleeve over his knee. Henry has leads all defensive backs in tackles with 80 and has a team-high 19 pass deflections.

He was at the Pei Wei in Las Colinas by my apartment. After he was done eating, I just said hi to him and just started talking a little Cowboys. I think he was a little surprised I knew who he was because nobody else seemed too. I just asked him if he was moving to safety (even though I kind knew the answer) and told him alot people didnt know that he had a bum knee last year. He just said he wasn't because they brought Hamlin in so he was going to stay at corner. After that, I just wished him luck and he thanked me and left.

It is weird how much he looks like Ladainian Tomlinson. Pretty cool guy, hope he can get back to the 2005, pre-shoulder injury form.

- Mike G.

Hopefully he does get back to his 2005 form. That's cool that he was a down to earth guy

Teams don't have to list guys unless they miss practice. Those guys didn't miss practice.

I understand you don't have to place them on the list however teams like Pats put every single guy with a bump on their injury list they may list them as probable but they listed every single player who was nicked. I’m not saying BP did anything wrong but the fact is he did not list many player who were playing with injuries while other coaches did just BP choice no right or wrong. Only reason I even mentioned it is because eduncan22 made the comment that Henry was not on the injury list however that does not mean Henry was not playing injured

The Pats do that because Beli is spiteful about catching a fine for it a few years back.

True however other teams do it as well, that is a coach’s call and BP just did not put player on the list while others did and does not change the fact that Herny was playing on a very sore knee and was dealing with swelling around the knee

I was agreeing with you -- Henry was hurting -- but the reason he wasn't on the report was that Bill didn't list guys unless he had to -- and he only had to if the guy missed practice.

Do you have access to the injury reports for the end of the season games?

Can you show me Terrell Owens on the same injury reports that Henry doesn't appear on? It is well known that he had an injured hand that required 2 surgeries since the season ended.

How does someone not make an issue of their injury and use it as an excuse? If I remember right it was Parcells who reported it, not Henry.

If it was a major knee injury he would have been placed on the DL or had surgery. That doesn't mean the injury failed to hamper him as you seem to maintain.

I'll be waiting for those injury reports you'll never be able to produce.

I understand that I was not trying to argue with you, sorry if it came across that way.

So by your "reports" T.O. was not injured either ...... those 2 surgeries he had this summer must have been for fun.

Good God. It is like in the Bugs Bunny cartoon when he fools Elmer Fudd during an argument by switching sides. Well played Eduncan22.

That is actually interesting. It appears that Reeves may have been hurt worse than Henry which would explain a lot.

Parcells forcing vets to practice hurt seemed to hurt us on game day.

Hmm. I believe you just made my point for me. Or do you not realize that?

Look closer, do you see Henry's name? No, you've already beat that drum to death. Do you see Terrell Owens? Yet we know for a FACT he was injured. Or are you maintaining that he really wasn't injured and is making excuses?

You can't have it both ways.
