Signed by Cowboys Kai Forbath kicker signed

Now the Rams will only beat the Cowboys 35-3, instead of 35-0

Forbath will do the opposite of Maher. Hes going to make every kick that counts for 3 and miss a few that count for 1

At least, Forbath is a kicker we've heard of before, not that it's anything fantastic! Hard to believe Ladouceur doesn't know better than to cry about another pro kicker getting the axe . . . guys far more valuable than he was are cut all the time. Maybe a few of our deadwood players will get a clue that they actually need to produce to be granted a safe stay on the team.

Hey if he can hit with in 40 yards consistently that would be great. Anything over 40 yards is a bonus
Im fine with trying anotner jag kicker

But inside of 40 Maher was 15 of 17 on FGs and 36 for 36 on PATs

He's been in the NFL since 2011 and has only played all 16 games twice. Injury prone?

A move like this can lead to a culture change in the locker room and a Super Bowl run.
At least you can lay your head down and sleep soundly tonight knowing that the team culture is in good shape and a SB run is a comin'!

I have low expectations for Forbath but they had to try something. At least now maybe Garrett will stop playing for FGs.

But, will this stop Garrett from trying 57 yd FG's early in the game?
Maher has hit 3 kicks over 60 yards -- only kicker to do it. So it's not like it was crazy to go for points.

I recall years ago when they hired vandershank as their kicker. Most accurate kicker in the league at that time. Came to us and got permanent Yips and was cut mid season. Most kickers have the same skills when it comes to legs and distance. What's going on between their ears separated the good ones from the ones who are sitting at home.

Its going to be very funny to watch him trot on the field for his first Dallas field goal only to miss. Only in Dallas would something like that actually happen.... I can see it now.

I remember that. It was like Vanderjagt got hit in the face with a cast-iron skillet or something. He was great and then lost it all.
