This is a very sad thread. Very disappointed in some of you whom I truly respect. Why watch all of these past 26 years if you truly hate Jerry and his family that much...or how they run their business...or the product they have fielded year in and year out? It's like hating on the sweat-shop made products at Walmart, yet you keep shopping there and have made Walmart the #1 retailer around the world.
That’s an excellent point and fair analogy. And also a great example how consumers while objecting and in some cases uproar over how a business or company operate often fall prey in their patronage thru convenience and or habits . It is hypocritical in some ways . And I agree in many ways and why I rarely shop at Walmart. And other business which I sharply detest.

We also must remember that a professional sports franchise is a privilege bestowed on an individual or family with approval from the league and majority of its owners . And it can be taken away. Which is unlike most business .

But much like we often don’t agree or at issue with our country’s leadership we still love and support our country while speaking out against its policies and direction. And we exert our energies and resources on bringing about change .

Our local franchise is a great example of a classic love/hate relationship which the Cowboys are still our favorite franchise while it’s owner is our most hated sports personality.

This franchise belongs to our great city and area not just Jethro. He is in sorts a temporary key holder much like our other previous two owners. And why he continues to appease in public to the fans as he knows it could go south if apathy ever sets in.

Kinda dark for you Bob. lol.

Jerry isn't changing. He's going to the grave doing things his way.
He will continue his ways as long as the support is there. The only way to challenge is thru the ratings and revenue.

And why I’ve been pleading for a couple decades now to try and force the issue. Unfortunately we have been sending him the wrong message if we truly want to bring about change.

After seeing Jerry very briefly as he addressed the media the other day, it was sadly obvious- he has become a pathetic old echo chamber. He only listens to those who tell him what he wants to hear. He only speaks to those who won’t call him out. That circle is shrinking.

Fewer fans are buying the kool aid. Fewer still think he has any credibility left. He’s become a shallow character- a carnival barker who’s getting old; the old tricks don’t work any more- and even he knows it. His past multitude of skeletons once hidden in payoffs and non-disclosure agreements are being discovered- even those he thought his money could silence. Welcome to the digital age Jerry.

Karma is knocking on his door. And Karma cannot be paid off and doesn’t sign NDAs. Everywhere he turns these days, mirrors are popping up. The clock is ticking louder and louder. His once vibrant energy has faded. He looks old and his charade of trying to prove he is a football guru is now only accepted within the family circle and the fewer and fewer fans who love him anyway.

The day Jerry heard Jimmy was elected to the HOF may have been the worse day in his life. In his mind, his HOF election now probably takes a backseat to Jimmy’s. Because Jerry is in the hall as a “contributor”. Jimmy is in as head coach. It’s obvious who the “football man” is.

Yep. Better answer the door Jerry. Karma is on the front porch and she can’t be bought or silenced. Karma is undefeated. The clock nears midnight. Maybe it’s time to change your ways.
Nice!

You must be kidding. Karma can come live in Jerry's basement and still He and Stephen will still run this team forevermore.

Even that won't matter anymore. Jerry isn't the cash strapped , debt ridden hustler he used to be. The stadium seats are pre-sold to corporations with no rooting interests. The league has revenue sharing among teams and the local revenue generated isn't enough to make a dent in his radar. The grave is the only thing that is going to rid us of Jerry's team management.

I don’t hateJerry at all. Not one bit. My frustration centers on being tired of losing because of stubborn arrogance.

I’m sure Jerry is a super nice guy outside of owning the team. It’s his job as owner that people hate. So ridiculous when people twist it in to hating him and now his family on top of it. Iol the job he does as GM sucks! Period. What’s funny is you voice your displeasure over certain players and coaches, doesn’t mean you HATE them or their family! Means the job they are doing is a problem.

Isn't it sick?

He gets up there with Fisher talking about strategy as if what they do is some proven success story....and thats absolutely how it's done.

Then they fail again, blame others for a couple weeks, then strut around like they have it all figured out thereafter.

I never thought of it in that light, good point.

Actually, as long as Pepsi, and Ford, and AT&T, and all the other companies keep shelling out millions to Jerry, it won’t matter. That’s where the money comes from.
and the fans continue to gobbel up the jerseys and cowboys items....

Don't believe in Karma, but is been obvious for years that Jerry is not qualified to be a successful GM
nor is his son qualified for success for the position that he holds.
