- That’s what an experienced, veteran offensive minded head coach is for, as to help a rookie or 2nd year novice OC.
That’s a part and role of being an overseer, management and deliver suggestions and ideas to the more inexperience young minds
That is what was supposed to be the value and advantage of McCarthy arriving here.

- You don’t think someone helped out Sean Payton or a Reid or a Gruden, etc. as they grew as play callers ?
You don’t think Walsh, Andy Reid, Mike Holgren didn’t help out and mold his top assistants ?

- And for what it’s worth, I’ll be glad if he is calling screen plays to the RBs in an effort to get them more involved in pass game and the screen plays
probably needs working because he wasn’t using them and we became out of synch.
But the last two games,(per Ravens, Bengals) we’re finally starting to see backs making plays in pass game
Im talking about the WR screens that havent worked for 2 years.

how would you then explain the NO, NE, and last eagles games, where they could only score 10 points??
How come they lost 8 games?
Red zone play calling is where kellen is really bad, not always but most of the time.
He also doesnt understand top, the run game or how and when to use it. His play calling has no plan , no setups, he just randomly calls plays,
the majority of which are pass plays.
He isnt brilliant or innovative.
All the stats are meaningless the way they are compiled.

" How to explain Saints, Pats, ?"
- vs Saints, a rookie 1st year OC that went conservative On the Road.. (or did Garrett himself insist on him going conservative On the Road?)

" Last Eagles game ? " .. – Dak clearly struggling with a bum shoulder, hurt previously vs Rams; may explain missing a wide open Tavon Austin for a likey TD,
didn't matter that Cooper was benched at games end .

" How come they lost 8 games ?" Garrett, a very erratic FG kicker who Garrett refused to replace, as usual as always the talk - the defense.
You don't; point to an offense that was No.1 in total yards, and among the top in scoring.

- Here i'll even help you with some more Moore criticism and responses;
Not using the RBs well ? And once again,..that’s what/why you should have experienced game managing HCs that’s right beside him for.

- Abandoning the run and not running ball enough? ...again that’s when a HC has to intervene and influence the OC to do his bidding more.
But again we have two back to back cases of TWO questionable game managing HCs

I explain Kellen being a novice rookie first time OC, when he should have had an experienced, veteran offensive minded HC helping him out as he grows as a coach.
Did that happen ? Nope
I explain just 2nd year OC Kellen by having yet another – and supposedly much more reputed offensive minded HC in McCarthy-..... and still not using his influence to add
or revamp the run game or RBs in the pass game.

- And those "compiled stats" does mean something and it means and tells a lot between what even an inexperienced OC can bring, has brought and upgrades in his sense, especially
compared to what was going on between Linehan and Garrett.

Some coaches are more OC than HC, .. while some HC’s cannot handle dual roles of HC/play-caller
some coaches are better X’s and O’s schematic than they are positional coaches.
Some think Moore is a better OC than what he seemed to be as a former QB coach.

- Only time and opportunity and being with the right situation with an NFL team directing towards changes would tell if Moore can be a Sean McVey or Sean Payton type..

8-8 and 4-9. Both teams were supposed to be contenders. The whole staff should be fired.

- Sounds like words of an woefully uniformed disgruntled Cowboys fan. Which has been more the talk and source of the downfall of this team the last two years.
Offense .. or Defense ? Defensive coaches or offensive coaches ? … OC or DC ?

Exactly!! He's the real key to Zeke's decline. Zeke isn't being used enough or correctly.

- Moore is not the key to Zeke’s decline. ZKE decline began before Moore even became OC.

When Garrett regime decided in 2018, to physically bulk Elliott up to become more of a bell cow pounder- he lost his speed and burst – the very element and area ZKE’s critics aim at.

From 2018 and present, the 20 yard runs and splash plays have declined and been non-existent with Zeke., ..that’s on him, Moore cannot make him regain his burst and make him physically faster.

Woefully uniformed??? You sound like a fan boy. Moore is not a leader of men. Smart guy sure but not an NFL HC. Certainly not now. In my opinion never. Dallas needs a fearsome leader with an actual pedigree. Not some goofy looking guy that can draw up a few plays. He is also wildly inconsistent as a play caller. Keep shouting his name out though.

How do we know he’s not a leader of men now ?
How can you tell that based upon what see about him talking and consulting with his players and calling plays from the sidelines ?
How does his situation as an top offensive assistant different from a McVey, Payton, Reich and upcoming assistants turn HC’s that were either handling the QBs or calling the X’s and O’s .?

The guys you named were all way more experienced than a 31 year old OC with less than 2 seasons at the job. Please. Garrett didn’t provide enough pain for you?

I just don't think Kellen has the same make up as Sean Payton and McVey. You could tell McVey was a leader among men even when he was with the Commanders. I just never got that impression from Moore.

Does he seem like a leader of men to you? Someone that can run an entire team?
Those lack of characteristics haven’t stopped Jerry from hiring nit-wits as head coaches in the past.

Can anyone see Kellen Moore being considered new Cowboys HC down the road in 2022, should McCarthy fail to deliver this team back to a winning path next year ?

Young, innovative, brilliant offensive mind, an envisioned of a Sean McVey or Sean Payton in the works.
Same play caller that had the No.1 offense two years in a row before Dak went down to injury.

And how would Jones feel if he was hired away as an HC elsewhere ...while McCarthy ..?
No way
