Kellen Moore on the run game

I think he’s trying to say that the attention being paid to Zeke and the run game opens up the pass. We’ll keep taking advantage of teams through the air until they stop paying so much attention to the run game, at which point things may ‘flip’ because increased focus on our passing attack will open things up for Zeke.

Leading the league in yardage...yet somehow....it's not good enough.
Those stats haven’t meant anything to the better teams that Dallas has faced. Oh yeah, the Jets didn’t care about the stats either. As usual, Dallas beat a team that they should have beat, but the problems with this team is still easy to see.

Didn't stop an inferior Demarco Murray often. It's not all on Zeke by any means. The O Line has been under performing.

I'm just glad Kellen has us moving the ball the best in the NFL...

If the D would step it up, we might actually have something....

NE isn't exactly looking like world beaters against Filthy..

"Maybe we need to approach it a little bit differently from a run game perspective."

ahhh, there ... he is an offensive guru., 10 weeks in .

Last week Ezekiel Elliott ran for 47 yards. Against Detroit, he had 45 yards. “At the end of the day, we’ve got the highest paid runner and a really, really good offensive line, that draws attention,” coordinator Kellen Moore said. “Whether it eventually flips or impacts in other ways as we continue to throw it, we’ll keep doing what we do. I think for myself, hey, I’ve got to find different ways. Maybe we need to approach it a little bit differently from a run game perspective.”

Kellen with the cheapshot…...What has pay got to do with it? I needed to be the reporter asking Kellen the questions.....Like, "With very limited coaching experience, how did you become the OC? How did you get on this fast track to become the next HC? What pictures are you holding of JJ in a compromising situation?"

It’s not like he can do much in terms of roster decisions. We know Zeke isn’t “Zeke” and Pollard needs more plays, but FO isn’t going to sit a guy they just paid big bucks to.

I don't get it? Zeke can't break a tackle. Yet people blame the oline. Then when Pollard comes in and makes plays with the same oline.

I don't think its the oline. It's Zeke.

Kellen isn't one of the problems...that's for sure. He's the only one keeping this turd afloat.

Pollard needs to get, if not the start, at least half the run snaps.
true but he wont, that would embarrass the jones boys!
They just signed elliot to huge contract, so no way they can handle him being benched, and also if pollard had a few good games,
that would make them look even dumber.

The play calling on runs is embarrassing bad. Moore needs to step it up because Dak is complete bailing Moore out every game.

Teams are clearly keying on stopping the run. That's opened it up for the passing game. When teams start making Dak their focus, it will open it up for the run game.

It wasn't hard to understand what he said

Hopefully the QB keeps playing at his current clip and makes the defenses pay. If that happens, the running game will definitely open up. Even with this defense, Dallas would be dangerous if the QB's play causes defenses to back off the LOS and defend the pass 1st.

As a 1st year O-Coordinator and only in his 2nd year of coaching, it is highly likely that they told Kellen Moore to leave the run blocking scheme to OL coach Columbo.

There is a good chance that Moore is making a reference to the need for changes to the run blocking scheme.

Let's hope so. How we run and defend the run needs work

pollard had like one run and it was a misdirection toss to the outside. zeke has been pretty average but there is something fundamentally wrong with our blocking scheme that is not allowing at the very least 4-5 yards a run
