OP's not going to be happy until, (1) Boise State is relevant again on the college football landscape and (2) Dallas drafts another Boise State QB. Can completely relate to being a fan of a college program and wanting alumni playing for your NFL squad but my man is totally out of control and off his rocker for anything Boise State. Truth be told, if it weren't for RUSH last season Prescot would have had a losing season last year! Prescot rode the coat tails of RUSH when he came back. Rush showed everyone that this team didn't need a gunslinger to win, they just needed a levelheaded QB who could manage a game while the defense was cut loose to dominate it's opponents. Unfortunately, when Prescot returned he got in a bad habit of helping out our opponents with all those interceptions!

The only person Lance puts on notice is Cooper Rush. This is worse than when people thought Dalton did the same thing, because at least Dalton looked passable as a starter for several years.

Lance was in a QB competition with Sam Darnold and lost. The 49ers spent 3 1s to get Lance so Darnold had to have been drastically better for them to reach this conclusion because if it was close, you have to imagine they stick with Trey as the backup.

That is not competition to your starter. I think Jerry might hope it gives him some leverage in negotiations but it does not.

Well I disagree. He is not an upgrade over rush this year. And the cowboys know it which is why trey is only taking Grier's spot as the 3rd QB. Maybe and I stress maybe he can beat out rush next year. But he has a long way to go to even think he can beat rush who is 6-1 as a starter.

Actually, if you look at it, the Trey Lance trade is the first time in the Dak era that the Cowboys brought in a QB that has the potential be a starting QB in this league. Dak should be on notice. As for Kellen Moore, it's obvious now that McCarthy never wanted and probably accepted having Kellen as OC just to get the head coaching job. I don't know if Kellen got screwed but the situation wasn't exactly fair either.
