Look...Trey Lance may not be the answer...but @ least he puts #4 on notice.

Fully expect this season to be a complete failure now...Now that we have traded for a QB controversy.

I expect Rush to be traded to the Chargers...and truth be told...he's probably the best of all 3.

But when has Jerry ever found a QB ?

That and the fact that one of the greatest offensive coaches just gave up on him for a couple of mediocre qbs.

Purdy and Darnold. It’s not like he was sitting behind Rodgers or Mahomes. Plus he had an entire offseason to win the job while one was hurt and is still the odd man out. He certainly won’t be pushing Dak Prescott any time soon.

You havent been right yet. Everything you said is laughable and ridiculously off base.

First, I see no way Kellen Moore enters into this equation in any way, shape, or form. KM is a non issue.

Second, the only person I see being put on notice here is Grier, not #4! Lance being dumped for practically nothing after the price that was originally paid to get him, I don't think he can even put Rush on notice. Not till he has adequately proven his value, and that's not going to happen overnight.

Third, The best of all 3??? Rush? I'm not a big fan of Dak, but neither do I hate the guy beyond all sense of reality. Rush is NOT the best of all 3. He's far and away better than Grier, and he's a good backup, but he's not better than Dak. It's not even close.

Floaty has never been right about anything in regards to Dak or QB's.

He is the poster child for getting it all wrong.

No QB controversy. Dak is heads and shoulders better than Lance and it isn't even close. Lance has to really develop just to get to mediocre.

Lance is likely farther along than Dak was in 2016. That's good for Dallas.

Trey Lance just turned 23 in May.

He can sit and learn for 2-3 seasons. If Dallas parts ways with Dak at that point, and if Lance is ready, he can give Dallas 4-6 good season and be in his early-30s

*IF* it worked out like that, Dallas will have taken care of its QB situation well into the next decade
