I assume it has been discussed but what is going on with this guy?

He's been complete **** for a while now.

His attempted tackle on Muse during that PI play was embarrassing. Literally, I felt ashamed he was playing for Dallas.

Worst starter on the defense, by far.

And this isnt anything recent. He was really lousy last year too. He appears even worse to me now.

I don't think Hamlin should be benched. I honestly think he should be cut.

Unfortunately, the backups are totally unproven and cutting Hamlin would be a little risky, hahaha...Still, if I'm Wade Phillips and Mike Hamlin or Alan Ball even show anything, they're in the starting lineup and Ken's off the team. I can't stand to see him missing tackles and taking poor angles to everything. Cant stand it. Every time he's near the ball, I think, 'oh no, here go...another 89 yard TD run'

He'll never live down that Bmore game last year...nor should he

I don't think we can afford to cut Hamlin right now, salary cap-wise.

I'd like to give Hamlin the benefit of the doubt last night because maybe his assignment was specifically to watch out for Steve Smith in the event he broke past TNew's press coverage.

But the guy has just been too absent for too long. You'd think he might make a play and be in the right place at the right time just by accident sometimes.

on the lack of tackling wrapping up; does that point to wade not believing in tackling in training camp, and does wade need to get the players back to basics on tackling and wrapping up?

This has NOTHING to do w/Wade, for once. Hamlin has always tackled like a POS, he loves the kill shot and never EVER wraps up. He even blitzes like he tackles, with his head down.

PATHETIC. And I love the Ken & Barbie nick. Suits them perfectly.

And I would rather have Watkins at FS, at least the guy makes a BIG play once in a while. Hamlin doesn't even know how to spell "big play". Plus I still remember how he wanted to whup on Hamlin in preseason.
