Ken Hamlin

Had a thread earlier about Ken and Barbie and which one was worse last night: we laugh but........Hamlin infuriates me. He sucks so bad it's hard to find words for it...his angles are worse than Barbie's.

I assume it has been discussed but what is going on with this guy?

He's been complete **** for a while now.

His attempted tackle on Muse during that PI play was embarrassing. Literally, I felt ashamed he was playing for Dallas.

He isn't good he was never good he got a big paycheck from us after playing a career year and went back to his normal sub par ways. Dude is worse than RW.

That was an awesome "low"light video of Hamlin. It made me throw up in my mouth.

Someone please ask Magic 8-Ball if Hamlin will be on the team next year? I'm curious to see it's take.

If we are within striking distance of Taylor Mays or Eric Berry come Draft Day, I need Jerry to put on his "wheeler & dealer" hat and get 'er done. We need safety help in the worst way.

He's another FA bust that was signed for big bucks. It's time for Dallas to start drafting smart.

what do you mean "another"?

who else was signed for big bucks that didnt work out?

also, we didnt sign him to that big contract originally, we signed him fo a peanut 1yr deal.

as for "drafting smart" I'd say Barber, Jones, Choice, Witten, Bennett, Romo (rookie free agent) Crayton, Gurode, Adams, Ware, James, Spencer, Spears, Ratliff, Newman, Jenkins, Scandrick, Folk, Buehler etc etc etc are exmaples of smart drafting.

What was wrong with what he did in the 1st half?

The 1st half, the Cowboys looked lethargic and just didn't seem prepared to play.

Wade Phillips is not a very good Head Coach.

It looks to me like he's lost his confidence back there and will bite on just about anything. Because he lacks confidence, he's very indecissive.

That's a situation, if that's what it is, that's extremely difficult to correct or overcome.
I would think it's because he isn't spending the needed time in the film room studying the opponent.

So was he a great head coach in the 2nd half?

Absolutely dont need or want Taylor "makes no plays" Mays. We already have plenty of that back there.

Berry will be long gone before we get a chance to pick. That kid can play.

Mays is all hype. The next time he makes a play might be the first.

I'm tellin you right now. Even if Eric Berry is out of reach I'm doing EVERYTHING I can to get him. He is really that missing peice to this defense. Imagine no more missed tackles or actually help over the top!!

He is that big of a difference maker. I'm pulling a blockbuster to move up. First,2nd and next years first. Get it done Jerry!!!

Holla!

what's frustrating is that he was not nearly that bad a couple years ago, he did alright in deep help and his tackling was ok, but that miss on the should have been touchdown was inexcusable.

I hope this is sarcasm, if not, well I'm glad you arnt running the show there.

Like Berry alot, but he isnt worth anywhere near what you are suggesting to give up in order to move up and get him.

So are you guys realising that Wade may not be whats been the problem with the defense and its actually the players themselves?

Please. Same players as last year and unless every single one of them "fell off" Wade is responsible.

again, great college player...aint worth two firsts and a second though...no safety is

if he's within 8-10 spots of wherever we are on draft day, maybe then you think about moving up some...but you dont mortgage two drafts for a safety...thats just ********

Exactly.

I would be willing to bet Mike Hamlin or even Alan Ball would be a big upgrade over Ken Doll.

Would you give two high first rounders for a 21 year old Ed Reed?
