We lose Burnett. Gain Brooking.

= slower LB group this year.

I want to see Burnett's contract though.

OMG, this is just crazy! Dallas should have kept Burnett and forgot about Keith Stinking Brookings!

I hope it is a bog contract so that we get a high Comp pick for losing him.

I'm really curious as to whether the staff thinks Carp can play on passing downs and replace Burnett.

I mean, it's been several years now. He's got to be ready now, or it's never.

I think this is a poor decision by Burnett. I'm sure Miami gave him the best offer but this guy would be much better off signing with a 4-3 team.

If so, they might have actually wanted to try before they let Burnett walk.

hostile, if the dolphins do sign him, with a big huge contract, do we get the compensation pick this year or next year? remember burnett was a 2nd round pick for the cowboys

burnett wasnt that special.

i think some people liked reading his blog too much and having fond memories of an intercpetion for a touchdown in 2006.

he was JAG.

I'm with ya I hope this is a big contract that we get a good comp pick. Look on the bright side with Canty and Burnett gone we could have some nice extra picks next year.
