Kevin Burnett a Dolphin?

I wouldn't really consider Burnett to be a 3-4 MLB. He's a SP player who provided good coverage posted in the middle along with Ware and Ellis. He's either a 4-3 Will or a 3rd down cover LB in the 3-4.

And you're right. His role was a very important one.

This move doesn't make sense. Burnett never really fit Parcells' version of the 3-4.

think beyond burnetts one down coverage skills that we werent going to pay 25-32 million for.

apparently not. we needed KB for that one down so badly. you know we got murdered all those games he was out with injuries...which was a lot of games by the way.

whats the going rate for a third down playing LB who is also injury prone and will not start for the dallas cowboys.....

yep and burnett does not fit the mold.

Loved him when he was out there. but it was only a 1/3 of hte time.

we will replace him with someonee else while brooking plays down 1 and 2.

Burnett was 100% undeserving of a big deal AND starting. Never could stay healthy. If he does in Miami I'd be surprised. OUr LB's sure are a question mark now. Hope we can find a couple in the draft. BTW: any chance of cutting Carp and saving money under the cap? He's been worthless from the start............

If you havn't seen him play..look up his "strengths" and combine numbers. He's exactly what we need as far as coverage LB's.

yes seriously. a one down player (who was excellent at that one down) who not only WANTED STARTING MONEY but was NEVER GOING TO START HERE...
