He was a great role player on this team and losing him isn't a good thing.

He wasn't just a jag unless you don't understand his importance.

Burnett had his faults but he was by far our best coverage LBer. He played a key specific role for this team and we currently have noone on the roster who can fill it...unless Roy W makes a position change.

This will surely need to be addressed in the draft.

Well that's good to know. I want to see Burnett get like 30 million so I can say "good job Jerry" and get some good comp picks too. Burnett is just not worth that kind of money and I could live with Brookings and Beckwith in that WILB position . People think we are getting Demeco Ryans or something..there's not alot of options people!

Wow. I never guessed the Dolphins. Kevin Burnett deserves to start, imo. He's one of the best cover linebackers in the league, and he is a good blitzer.

If they draft Ron Brace, Burnett will thirve. I hope he dominates. I'm a big fan of his.

I like drafting Darry Beckwith, too. However, getting him in round three is going to be tight. He may not be there.
