Kitna to be QB coach, Moore leading candidate for OC

I think Garrett takes back the playcalling.

Moore will assist him with gameplanning and watch from the booth for challenge calls.

I see this as what may have been in the works all along.

They wanted Moore to learn Linehan's offense so it still is part of the offense going forward.

Linehan had the running game going and leaned in Zeke a bunch.

That cannot change for the worst.

Honestly, I would hope he just let Moore call the plays.

I like both inputs. It keeps one or the other from becoming fixed in one particular train of thought. I used to do it myself. I coached for 10 years. Little guys mind you but it still applies.

My initial reaction is, this sucks because it will be the same playbook. If JG or Moore calls the plays really doesn't matter since it's coming from the same playbook.

I think they need to go outside id JG philosophy and people connected to him and give that person full control over the offense.

Like any other decision they make, I'll ***** today about it, but then I'll take a wait and see approach and hope I'm wrong.

You fail to remember your history of JG having only 2 playoff wins in 9 seasons as head coach. I have been a diehard fan since I was 5 years old in the early 70s and I hope like hell I am wrong about JG and he can actually take this team to the promised land.

I hope this isn't true. Kitna is probably an upgrade at QB coach but Moore has shown me nothing to indicate he would be a good OC. Jerry is about to waste a lot of talented players on another coaching experiment.

Maybe Jerry told Jason that while he loves him, he can’t keep spitting the bit in the playoffs and has to advance beyond where he has gone.

Jason says fine but if I am going down, let me go down on my terms and let me call my own plays.

Jerry says sure but no extension, this is a prove it year.

My one worry with Moore is if he gets promoted too high Floaty might end up on the staff.

The only benefit I can see to any of this is the unexpected. It’s also built so it can be blown up in case of a coaching sweep the following year.
