Doesn't make any sense to me. Their 2020 pick will probably be higher than the one used to pick Fitzpatrick in the first place.

Looks like the Steelers got him anyway.

At least he’s out of the NFC and the Cowboys won’t play him.

Given Bens injury this makes no sense for the Steelers

How you think Steelers fans feel?

0-2. Franchise hall of fame QB maybe just had his career ended.

Now you trade away a first for a DB who won’t be the difference in going anywhere this season. When you could have saved your first to get your next QB instead in a draft that will have Tua and Herbert.

    Man oh man.

If the Steelers had a shot at going deep in the playoffs I can see it being an okay move. Right now it looks like their season is about to tank, so keeping a draft pick would have been better.

I feel it’s hilarious that the Steelers did that.

They must feel really good about Mason Rudolph.

Thank god we didn't give up our 1st round pick again. Although Amari was a great acquisition.

They're sold on Mason Rudolph. They're not "tanking" for Tua.

That is a bizarre acquisition for a team in their position.

Better than going to Philly or Seattle.

They seem perfectly capable of inadvertently tanking.
