Pitt is on tilt
The Steelers are sold on Mason Rudolph, so their fans who were hoping for Tua/Herbert were going to be disappointed anyway.
Huh. I thought this was going to "Ryan Fitzpatrick traded to Pittsburgh."
I wonder if Miami is willing to part with Allen Hurns? If so, what should we give up?
Just glad that Philly didn't get him at least.
Wonder if we offered a 1st. Even if we did, Pittsburgh's offer beats us.
I get that they think they can contend for the AFC North, but they are at best a 9 win team who will lose early in the playoffs (without Ben).
Why would the Steelers trade away a Top 10 pick ? They need a new franchise QB and a legitimate No#2 wide out....................
Doesn't make sense to me.....................
I mean hey. Mason Rudolph May end up being good.
But man wouldn’t they want to save the first rounder until you actually see him in some game action, so you know for sure?
Trading the first rounder now, they’re risking a lot that Mason is as good as they think he is.
It’s a risky risky trade.
to be fair, Minkah was a top 8 pick.
Dolphins may end up with two picks in the top 5
Silver lining - Minkah won't be out there for the Dolphins on Sunday.
Well, they must really believe in Mason Rudolph.
I put Buffalo ahead of the Steelers this year since Ben is out. So this move by the Steelers is baffling.
Maybe they thought they were getting Ryan Fitzpatrick
Once it was announced Ben was done for the year, no one could beat Pittsburgh's likely draft spot.
Minkah's a lot better than many here wanted to give him credit for. He'll make Pittsburgh better.
Meanwhile, we have safeties with pigskin allergies. Hopefully, another opportunity to improve the position will present itself.
He was actually drafted at 11..............
WOT IN TARNATION
It feels like some people in Pittsburghs front office are fighting for their jobs.
