And I do not care that Jimmy Johnson hired him.

Besides, isn't he the coach that was just so horrible and he bombed in Miami?

Only reason I bring it up is when people ask why would Jerry listen to him? the same reason Jimmy did. Again I'm not a big fan of Lacewell

As for Jimmy bombing in Miami true they did not really improve over what they had been doing with Shula and the dule role of HC/GM proved to be harder in Maimi

How does that make our team better?

You get arguably the best QB in the draft, and eventually a replacement for Romo. He would have time to develop and learn the offense. Is he exactly what we need in this draft? No, but if he fell to 16 Jerry would sprint to the podium.

Nothing to agree with there sorry. JF is not even close to the best QB in this draft. 1st round QB's are not drafted to develop and learn offenses. Drafting him at 16 makes zero sense. Might as well draft a punter because he would play and some are convinced Jones isn't a good punter and should be replaced.

I think comparing drafting a punter to picking Manziel is a bit ridiculous. It's funny to me how people either like Manziel or hate him and think he will be total garbage. There is absolutely no middle ground. I wasn't saying I want him to replace Romo right away. I was thinking more of a Rodgers learning from Favre scenario.

Everyone smashing on JF are the same ones that prop up Romo because of his numbers. Well guess who also has numbers?

Only if he can rush the passer... and put on 100 pounds.
Who's to guarantee 1st off, that whomever you draft to rush the passes is going to be any good at this level? You see we can do this all day long.

And if he is able to rush the passer, who's to say that the defense is going to be a top 10 defense? Let's say he is a good passrusher but it takes 3 years to become good, and by that time Romo is a vegetable, then what? You see the same show over and over and over and truly think something's going to change. How about this, we drafted NEED last year with the center, guess what, we still sucked.

Kapernick is avg with a great defense bottom 10 with romos defense. But atleast he looks tough for his pressers

Love his pressers, boss.

I mean he's got this sort of scowel on his face when he answers questions,..

..he doesn't come across as friendly.

Just once I'd like to see Romo cut loose on one of his teammates
