Dwight should go to Houston, not Dallas

I agree. If Dwight decides to leave Los Angeles he should go to Houston. I don't understand why people think he would wanna go to Dallas. Sure they have some nice young talent, but if Dwight left the Lakers he would want to play with a young star in the future. In Houston he gets to play with James Harden who is right on the cusp of being a superstar. None of those young players Dallas has are stars just solid role players. Playing with a 34 year old Kobe who is still one of the top players in the league is far more appealing than playing with Dirk IMO.

I'll call my shot here.

Jackson returns. He brings Kurt Rambis along as assistant HC. Rambis is beloved in LA

If Phil comes back he would probably be making 15m per year. That's incredible.

I could see Brian Shaw except he might be bitter they didn't select him when they had the chance after Phil left.

I don't really want D'Antoni, but I would understand the move considering Nash was at his best under D'Antoni.
Jerry Sloan doesnt seem interested in coaching anymore. But I don't know that Sloan would want to live in LA either. But he would be a good fit.
I think Bickerstaff sucks...Who knows man.

All signs point to Phil Jackson returning to coach the Lakers. This is the perfect suituation for him. Talented team that's struggling. Phil has been great at managing superstar egos throughout his terrific career. Kupchack was asked on Phil's potential return to the team and he said "we'd be negligent to not be aware that he's out there." There has also been reports of him at the Lakers facility and ESPN has learned he's interested in a return to the NBA.

Texted a buddy of mine that is a HUGE Utah Jazz fan about 30 minutes ago... "Sloan to coach Lakers, 3 years around 40M".

He called me and he was pissed. Good practical joke. I already told him that I was messing with him, but not until after I got off the phone call.

I would love to have Phil of course. I just don't trust that Howard would actually get it. He worries me. I think he is more of a "me" player than Kobe. Perhaps the older vets could convince him.

Hated seeing Phil Jackson go the last time, but it was well needed time off. When he comes back to the Lakers, they won't skip a beat.

:laugh2: myobic laker fans, Who's left on that team that can run the triangle? Nash is best off the dribble. You would essentially have a team trying to learn one of the most complicated offenses on the fly. IMO I think the Lakers best move would be to bring in Sloan and his pick & roll offense. Nash could be very effective in that type of an offense.

Phil Jackson will come back now they he has a stacked team, lord knows he cant coach without an all star team. most overatted coach ever. POP makes him look like a schoolkid. Honestly i think it will be D'antoni. Kobe got his way. They arent panicking eh?:laugh2:

SOmething like 10 championships? Gosh if only a couple teams in Dallas could have coaches that were so over-rated.
