This is usually unacceptable in places where accountability matters
Leadership and being a face for the team are critical expectations Stephen Jones has for his players with second contracts. I am 100% sure he will get a call from Stephen.

Fans like to hold up someone's head like it means anything.

Agree - who cares about the press conference.
It’s a huge part of the players responsibility. So much so that it’s in the CBA. It’s part of what gives them the salary they get. You might not care, but it’s very important to the league, the press, the advertisers, the owners, and yes even the players.

Definitely should be accountable. But, I would be fine if he stays consistent with the media. Do a Marshawn Lynch, don't talk win or loss. Only show up because you don't want to be fined and say nothing.
Marshawn had heart and burned to win.

I just saw an article that Antoni pierce called out his players after today's game, thats at least holding guys accountable. What does MM do? Where is the accountability in this organization.
Jerry doesn't allow it. He wants to be the players friend more than he wants a winning team.
