Why don't you tell us? You seem to know all about him since he has you in a "Trance"!
At some point you gotta think, Chasing6 is a 49er fan with all the hate he has on Lance. Loves everything the niners do etc. Never seen someone dislike a QB that has had his up and downs and trying to get better.

Is it chasing6 for the niners or cowboys??

I guess the front office doesn't see this young man as the future. Maybe I'm missing something, but did we trade for him to be the future? I didn't think so. I thought he was just cheap insurance for QB 1 & 2

That’s why this is such a weird pickup. If they want Trey to play they’re going to have to pay him. He won’t sign a long term peanut contract then go on to start for Dallas at $500k a year or whatever.

Even with Mahome's their defense gave up less than 17 points a game. So he did not win it by himself. No QB has ever won it by himself period.

Just because the average fan can not comprehend the game, does not mean the QB won the game by himself.
100% agree. Chiefs don’t win the SB last Feb without that defense.

No way Trance gets a $5M to $10M new contract.
LOL, I see. I'm just giving an example of an alternative to paying him market value or tag money. We know that isn't going to happen anywhere. I don't know what it would take to actually retain him. But it won't be anywhere near tag money.

Cheaper to just negotiate a new contract, this was a given.
Of course. But when you're a free agent, you're going to go to either the highest offer, or the best situation for you. Dallas will have no more leverage than any of the other 31 teams.

Agree.
It is strange for a supposed fan to hate on a player so much without him even playing a down. He might end up being a bust but it says a lot about someone hating so much on a young guy who was drafted in the 1st round trying to get his career back on track after a few unfortunate and serious injuries.

Or it could be Tad Prescott feeling the pressure given a severely limited practice squad QB went 5-1 with the same team as Prescott.

Either way, the optics reflect poorly on the poster.

Unless Dak gets injured and Lance plays lights out covering for him for many games, I think its a good gamble. Also, Dak is getting up there in age, so Lance may want to take a shot here with the Cowboys being the next person up. However, I do agree with you on the fact it will be harder with less leverage to resign.

LOL, if Lance gets a chance and plays lights out, I don't think there is any question of what would happen. I too want to see what he can do.

Yea I really want to see him play. He didn't get a full chance with the 49ers, and I want to see if he can play or not. I am somewhat worried about his injuries in the past. Will be interesting to see.

This is showing all the signs of being another example of Jerry being unable to resist what he perceives as a shiny toy, and the franchise being set back because of it. Good thing GMs get fired for that kind of thing.

This next pre-season should have Lance getting most of the snaps at QB or it will have been a huge waste of time and a 4th round pick.
