Late Games Thread

So SEA just pinned the niners deep with a punt to end the half. Here’s a question..when I was a kid punters mostly tried to do the “coffin corner” kick to pin a team inside the five to negate any chance for a return. The only thing is that it is difficult to do that. I remember many times punters completely failing to even pin the team inside the ten. Now punters almost always try to use hang time to allow the coverage to outrun the ball and pin the ball inside the five. This seems way more efficient. Why didn’t punters do this back in the 70’s and 80’s? they couldn’t consistently get the hang time? That’s the only thing that makes sense but it’s also hard to believe.
 
Wilson just tried to run it into the end zone and got hit. Pete Carroll’s heart just sank lol. He appears ok though

What a bone headed move by Wims, he didn't even have anything to do with the play or altercation.
 
If Seattles defense plays like this they won’t lose another game this year
