Schefter's "report" was posted in the first Dez thread. Him reiterating that info today isn't new. But I get it if this is your first time hearing/reading about it.

Yeah, this is a Cowboys fan site. I'm a Cowboys fan voicing my opinion on this subject. Where's the problem?

The problem is this is you're not just voicing your opinion about the subject. Your very first post in this thread was whizzing on the fans for trying to support and believe in one of their favorite players. So what? How about whizz on the story or just stick to talking about the details or lack thereof, or pending, or whatever, as pretty much everyone else has.

Apparently, this whole thing was started by some "former friends" of Dez, and they're trying to get money from his people or whomever they can sell the story and "video" to.

Sounds like Dez thinks the Cowboys are the source of this rumor, and it's completely false. He said he's being betrayed (after the convo about Cowboys' loyalty to him), and then in the other tweet he says, "It's clear what's going on," after saying the rumor is BS.

I think Dez believes this rumor is being floated as a way to make him sign now to the offer on the table. He doesn't think the offer is good enough, and is starting to get pissed at the Cowboys for spreading this nonsense. Of course, Jerry and Stephen come out and say they have no knowledge of a video, to cover their tracks

do he means "deceived" instead of "betrayed"? If unsure the library lady can help us and Dez with the right word. she recently heped me write a short story about shopping at the Goodwill and she is good with words.
