Who is Scott Bischoff? No surprise that all the vultures in the media are trying to put their name on this story.

Ok, my gut on this now is.....

Yes, there is a video. No, it's not flattering, and maybe a bit unlawful, but it's not nearly as damaging as the extortionists portrayed. Dez doesn't want it out there, but he's not willing to succumb to blackmail to stop it. The Cowboys know about it and don't want it out either, but it's more embarrassing and revealing about Dez four years ago than it is truly concerning moving forward. It does give the Cowboys some pause as they contemplate a "Cowboy for life" contract with Dez moving forward. The franchise tag is still the preferred option unless Dez will either take less guaranteed money, or agree to behavior clauses. And his back issues also cause additional pause from the Cowboys.

Meanwhile, the extortionists are frustrated by how little they're being offered for the video, and they're holding out, not TMZ or whoever. These dolts thought they had a million-dollar chip, and it's only worth about $25,000 or so. So it's a bidding war for a video that's now losing its steam because its not as damning as everyone was worked up into thinking.

Meanwhile, Shefter and Florio are in full panic. They have WAY oversold this, and now they realize that they've spent too much time and energy on a gotcha for the team they love to get.

And we wait.....

hope you are right.

Betrayed could mean that people even believe that he could do something that bad. He seems to be pretty clean cut for a long time and it must be frustrating to always hear about dumb stuff your past.

And even though we are America's Team, we here at the CZ seem to be the only ones going crazy for it. It's not like it's even trending on Twitter or Facebook.

Good point. Not really seeing much activity on this except for CZ and a few Cowboy blogs.

Yeah, maybe the cowboys, and some fans are starting to believe it. So the betrayed talk could equal to that. You make a great point.

Your guess is honestly as good as anybody elses.
Maybe.
I think there is no video otherwise it would have been shown and there is zero reason for it not to have been shown by now. Extortion or otherwise.
The holders of said video could have made serious bucks by now. Even if it was just Dez giving a single, but hard backhand to some woman/girl.
People will want to see it. People will pay for it.
******** is practically begging for it.

I say there is nothing out there.
My claim is as good as anybody's.
