Man the Law bashers are in full metal retreat mode. No real out.
Law and 6 picks making statement - He carries a $11M Cap hit and why he may be available - that was an agent deal to get Law in FA again after proving he's a stud. He won that bet.....

Adding Law to Henry mix fixes the wrong. Lets do that and shore up secondary - I'm so sick of safeties with no cover skills. Law/Henry can make that move.

Law would be a very good signing, but how much money do we have tied up in our secondary with Henry, TNew, Glenn and Roy's contract next summer? I would rather select another CB in the draft to groom behind Glenn and Newman.

Reeves and Jones are being groomed right now. Maybe one will also get consideration for free safety next season as well.

Signing Darren Sharper to play FS instead of Ty Law to play FS in Dallas would have been a better choice. I am not saying Dallas should have signed him, but he would have been better than Ty Law. He has 8 INTs this season and more in his career than Law.

I don't see Nate Jones having much of a future with the team outside of what he's doing right now.

I doubt Reeves will get a shot at free safety. While I like the way he's played coverage wise this season, he's an awful tackler.

the last time i remember Law trying to tackle a RB was against San Diego and if i recall correctly LT made him look pretty silly. The play reminded me of the time Barry Sanders juked Rod Woodsen so bad Rod blew his ACL and was forced to change positions. I dont see Law being any better at Run Stopping than Henry. Henry was one of our leading Tacklers before his injury.

Um, Law went out last year when it counted most.

It was a freakish injury and up until then, Henry was superb. I garner that if Henry would have stayed healthy he would have had at least 6 INT's by now.

Stuff happens.

Rich.....

Psst...Mention the part about them winning the Super Bowl without him.

I really like Henry........injuries are unfortunate.......

Wasn't Law hurt last year and missed games while Henry had 10 picks?

it was Law is too old, injured, crippled, sux last year despite he was like 23-0 in games started finished before injury....

We gave Henry the $10M SB.

Fastforward today. Law 6 interceptions and healthy, Henry out when it counts.....most

I'll take Hall of famers all day everyday. Race is on for his services next year -- CB/FS combo may be the ticket. I'm sure he's apalled playing for such a bad team......

Bring it!

Great job, buddy. More high volume, low content posting by the master of such things.

It might be a little premature to put law in Canton for the NFL hall of fame/shame....... He might be eligible though for the college version though.. I can not really say that I know his college stats if that is all that is being looked at for that consideration

The whole basis of this stupid argument is based upon stats.
Let's look at it this way shall we:
Fans like to judge players by stats.
Smart "Football" people judge players by the way they perform and could care less about stats.

Even if you just look at the stats, Law doesn't bring that much greater to Dallas. Henry has 3 inteceptions while playing RCB. Glenn when replacing Henry at the RCB position caught 2 more interceptions. That is 5 total from the RCB position. Law has 6. Not much difference at all.

Seems like Dallas is doing pretty well at the RCB spot. It is certainly not the reason Dallas is losing games. Law's presence would not change the offenses performance this year or next.

I am not opposed to Law coming to Dallas if it is for a cheap contract, but he is not a savior. Reallistically, Dallas has different problems it needs to address and spend money and draft picks on to fix. That makes Law a low priority. They need a FS more than another CB if they were to bring in another high priced defensive back.

Law is a borderline hall of famer and will upgrade our secondary in some capacity next year, Good to have db's that can get to and intercept passes more.

you keep talking about his 6 ints like he has 6 more than henry and he's a beast in run support? why does henry in less games have more tackles?

law 6 ints
41 tackles
7 pass def
henry
3 ints
47 tackles
11 pass def
and in 2 less games. no thanks we got the younger player for a longer time.
