Law versus Henry

another nors warning:

Henry supports the run even better than Law.

To what can we attribute the fall off in the run D but to his loss on the periphery, and his nose for the ball that was just as impressive as Dat's?

Law is CB - and skins never get those 2 bombs for TD's as he gets into the WR's...

You don't think 6 inters make a difference on a season?

Law is a haller - and all this denial is exactly tht denial. Wanna archive the Law wheelchair jokes and he sux posts? Dare me..... You know who you are.....

Does your crystal ball say that? Seriously Nors, I know you love all of the Super Bowl players that played for New England, but would Law been healthy during that time? Who knows. He is often injured. Henry ran into some bad luck and you already think Henry is that horrible? I don't buy it.

I think it's just another attempt to stir the pot in here. I didn't want Law this year, and I sure the hell do not want to overpay for him next year. We have other important issues to deal with.

Law will not be a Cowboy!

There is no campaign to bring the old man in as a FS/CB.

Law's career is at the very end. Henry's is getting better.

Ty will not be a Cowboy in 06'. Book it!

Nors' "source" meant Law would be here in '06. Ah yes. That's right.

My source has said nothing on this topic since spring 2004 pre draft.

All you clowns said Law would not play this year - wrong! 6 Ints so far!

FS move in the cards - he'd be great in center field. Something we are sorely lacking back there - a ballhawk!

Henry
Law
Roy

Just to clariffy - PRO BOWL CB Ty Law - maybe he can ride around in his wheel chair scooter in Hawaii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DE -- Dwight Freeney, Richard Seymour, Jason Taylor

DT -- Jamal Williams

LB -- Al Wilson, Shawne Merriman, Zach Thomas, Cato June, Joey Porter

CB -- Deltha O'Neal, Champ Bailey, Ty Law (ALTERNATES -- Tory James 1dt)

Sorry...I think the run game takes hire precedence.

What kind of money would you think your boy would want? From what I understand, this draft is loaded with Free Safety talent.

And you are automatically assuming he will not only make the transistion to Safety, but excel at it.

Oh Ty LAW IS A BEAST IN ZONE COVERAGE. hE HAS THE EXPERIENCE AND SAVY TO MORE THAN MAKE THE MOVE LIKE lOTT, wALLS, wOODSON, wILLIAMS MADE...

Sorry bout caps

Law is a borderline hall of famer and will upgrade our secondary in some capacity next year, Good to have db's that can get to and intercept passes more.

2006!

How does Law compare to other cornerbacks that have already been elected to the HOF?

Why are people so against this? You could even swap Henry and Law at FS depending on the matchups.

Imagine 4 wr sets, Law/Henry/Newman/Glenn.

Then why not add Deion and Rod Woodson to boot, so we can get this fantasy football party goin'! :D

Law made Pro Bowl in 2005 - six picks

Still an impact defensive back. Get it done Jerry in offseason.

At least you are persistent. I guess the motto should be "When you whiff...whiff again...and whiff again....keep swinging."

This stat is somewhat deceiving though. About 2/3 he was thrown at, completions were allowed.

I'm a big Law fan myself, but he's too old. Believe me-if we do sign him, we're gonna see twice more negative-law bashing here than Bledsoe and Vinny T have gotten.

See Merriman Pro Bowl today.

No whiffing - Rogers trade for Law in 2004 would have been a score

Law signing last offseason would have been a score - All Pro season and Pro Bowler. Where are all the wheelchair jokes now doubters?

FS/CB sign in 06 an upgrade.

It just doesn't sink in.

I personally don't believe Law was ever on the radar. I think this trade is something straight out of your imagination. Law would not have played FS. Plus he is a major risk with injury and character. Smuggling ecstasy across the border? Running from cops? Great guy.

He isn't having an All Pro season by any means either. By many accounts, he has actually played pretty lousy at times this year.

Nice that you are giving up on Ware already to prop up your fragile ego though. I see a guy in Ware who is taking on more responsibility than Merriman and has started since Day 1. Let's let this one play out before we crow too much.

How is Shanle doing? Miss Singleton yet?

FWIW-Larry Allen, despite declining a bit in recent years, still makes the Pro Bowl.

Point being that players who get lots of respect in this league will still nonetheless get lots of these votes.

Agreed. And many times fans will simply vote for the guy with the most INTs.

How many times did Alstott make the Pro Bowl as a FB when he was basically just a big, crappy TB.
