As you can see, the Cowboys are in the bottom half with 8. Four of those are DWI of some form. The Vikings top the list with the Broncos and 49ers coming in 2nd.

When you only include violent or some kind of illegal gun possession charge then the latest arrest of Wilson is only the 2nd time since Garrett took over that a Cowboy has been accused of a violent crime. The first one was Josh Brent's charge of manslaughter.

What interests me the most are the charges that I don't ever recall hearing about. Either that or they were barely mentioned and quickly forgotten. Call me paranoid, but I'll bet if the following players had been Cowboys we would have seen a media uproar:

Albert Haynesworth - Charged with misdemeanor sexual abuse for allegedly fondling the breast of a worker in a Washington restaurant.
Julian Edelman - Accused of touching a woman inappropriately at a nightclub on Halloween night.
Jarriel King - Charged with having forcible sex with woman in South Carolina who said she was intoxicated.
Derrick Shelby- Police report in Fort Lauderdale says he was touching females at club without permission and refused to leave when asked.
Josh McNary - Accused of rape, battery and criminal confinement of woman who said he attacked her Dec. 1 after night of drinking.
Ahmad Brooks - Accused of misdemeanor sexual battery stemming from a December 2014 incident at the home of teammate Ray McDonald.

I hope this lends a better perspective on the number of incidents including Cowboys versus the rest of the NFL. Why is it that the Cowboy incidents seem to be more amplified? I don't have the answer to that, just as I don't have an answer to why everyone remembers Michael Irvin's antics but barely anyone remembers Jerry Rice being arrested in a prostitution sting.

What's ashame is that many on here will basically just completely ignore it and act like it doesn't exist, just so that they can perpetuate a specific narrative.

Let's do overall suspensions by number of games total and let's the where Dallas ranks in that....:muttley:

Quit conveniently focusing on just one aspect of the team culture to spin the narrative in your favor. Every single year it's something with this team under Garrett's watch. Zero accountability and that starts with the coaches for their poor performance. So naturally the players won't have any. Well, unless you count the end of the roster scrub getting booted for dress code violation.

The boys are the lightning rods of the NFL. Mainly due to Jerry. So we get more attention and as the old saying goes its the mosquito that buzzes that gets slapped. One problem of course is the insistence that we only go after RKGs. That needs to be buried.

It is really not "wildly inflated." We have 100 games lost due to suspension since 2014, most in the league, 47 more than the next team behind us. Even if you remove Gregory's 14 games (and counting this year) and McClain's 10 games, we still lead league since 2014. We have third most in the league since 2002, well before Gregory and McClain came along. So, suspension stats are not misleading at all. Yes, we are middle of the pack at arrest stats as plasticman pointed out. But that's only part of the picture.

Funny how many posters start with stop making excuses, grown men, etc. Then they immediately blame ownership and coaching. If the players union didn't make it so hard to just cut guys, probably wouldn't have so many criminals in the NFL. The person to blame here is Damien himself. Guys whole life is spent positioning himself for a worry free secured life for him and his family and in an instant, it's all gone.

Can't fix stupid.
