LB DeMarvion Overshown is going to be nice in Dan Quinn's system!

I agree.

He likes these hybrid linebacker safety types.

He should be really good here.
I think they view him as Jayron Kearse's future replacement. Also, call me crazy but I see a lot of pass rush potential in him. He is a very high motor player and could basically be deployed as a poor man's Micah rushing the passer on 3rd downs. He also has got some skills in coverage too. I am actually pretty excited to see him on the field.

The dude plays with his hair on fire. He could be a lot of fun.

I'm waiting for just 1 of these hyped linebackers to do something. Cox, Clark now him. Prove it somebody
I didn’t like Cox, I liked Clark some but didn’t love his game tape… but Overshown I like. He will be put to good use in this defense.

He’s an easy mover and can do anything you want him to do. He should be great in coverage.

He does need to be a better tackler but that about all that he really needs to work on. Just learn the scheme and work hard and I can’t imagine him not being a good player.

What I like is he can be standing still and his first step looks like he was shot out of a cannon.

My sentiments exactly. Hopefully he will connect the dots quick enough to get some playing time early in the season.

I disagree..

He matches up with too many things a offense can do.

When teams have mobile QBs and TEs and RBs who run like WRs doing crossing routes then a guy like Overshown has to be on the field.

He’ll play and play a lot I would imagine.

To me he can actually do some of the things at linebacker that people think Parsons can do but actually can’t.
Jayron kearse and donovon wilson already do what he can.

I will say i love his game and the way he plays. He plays like hes 6'5 250 and vander trash plays like hes 6' 200 lbs

Drew Sanders is not as fast or athletic as DeMarvion Overshown. Why would you want a lesser talented player?
2 different players. Sanders is more of an inside and potential pass rush guy. DMO has way better coverage ability and more of a big safety. I would like to have both guys. Overall Sanders was the bigger name and talent.

Yup, they mentioned how proficient he was spying mobile QB’s. Not trying to waste Dono as a spy, need more than one guy with the speed and force to do so.

Wonder if we have any mobile QB’s in our division that give us trouble with their legs?

I'm sorry but I don't see what's so special about this dude. Dosent seem to have good lateral movement, dosent she'd blocks all that great either. I'm crossing my fingers that I'm 100% wrong on this.

I think Overshown is more of a project player.
Don't think he will see a ton of Defensive snaps this year (not unless there are injuries).
I think he will play a lot on ST, and likely is the heir apparent to Kearse for that position a year from now.

San Fran got a player very similar to D.O. Dee Winters.
