Lebron James

Oh that's right, Kobe has never been MVP or been an NBA champion.

The argument over who's best is a silly one anyway considering they are both beasts.

oh here we go with championships..haha he won them with Shaq..so did Wade..it's not that hard to win one when you got big Shaq daddy in his prime. Wade and Lebron would have won three in a row if they had Shaq on their side. The fact is, Kobe has done nothing but get embarrassed in the finals without Shaq. 131-92..LeBron or Jordan would never let that happen when the championship is on the line..

Hold that thought, Kobes not done winning championships. He still got some gear left.

Doubt they even get by the Nuggets. That team is legit and playing with alot of confidence. Chauncy has experience playing against the Lakers.

who would win without kobe and lebron in the lineup? lakers or cavs?

Great player, but I hate Cavs fans with a passion though. They think the NBA started 6 years ago. 99.99999999% of his fans are bandwagon POS. I hope he leaves Cleveland, so I don't have to look at hose ugly #23 uni's around town anymore.

I can't wait for him to get into some sort of legal trouble. The media will tear him down just as fast as they have built him up.

First of all, he's getting out of Cleveland as soon as his contract is up. So you can rest easy about that.

Second, what's with this "I can't wait for him to get into some sort of legal trouble" crap? You're life must be in the crapper if "the media will tear him down" thing entertains you that much!!

Listen, this kid ain't gonna' screw up. He's a good guy. He's a great father and a "stand by your woman" man. At least so far.

What has LeBron James done to you that has you on the edge of your seat, waiting for him to "go down"? I don't get this..........

The NBA needs more LeBron's IMO. I hope, 15 years from now, when the only name to be mentioned in the same breath as "King James" is Micheal Jordan, that you come back and post-up here with some kind of apology.

TOday just showed the difference between LeBron and Kobe..As soon as the Lakers get punched in the mouth, they run away and whine and complain to the refs. Very mentally weak team. LeBron would never allow that. Kobe isn't a leader, you can tell by his body language today.

he's most likely gonna win a championship this year with Cleveland so he's not going anywhere.

If he wins that's even more reason to leave, he won't owe anything else to Cleveland and would have won as The Guy.

If he loses, at least there is unfinished business.

I'm not terribly impressed that they are dominating two of the worst teams in the entire playoffs though.

where is he gonna go?

He's already made it very clear that he wants to play in NY. That's old news.

He "came out" last year about it, and he hasn't backed-off a bit since then.

Whether they ever win it in Cleveland or not, he's a gone'r. Didn't you catch that bit an Yankee stadium last year? He got a lot of heat in Cleveland because he was wearing a Yankee hat in NY when they were playing the Indians.......................

LJ wants to be the first billion dollar athlete, he needs to get out of that market in Ohio.

Don't be surprised if Mark Cuban starts dumping players and making space.

so because he's a fan of the yankees he wants to play in ny? he's a cowboys fan too so does he want to play for Dallas? he has a championship calinur team in Cleveland where as in NY or NJ they have to rebuild. I also doubt he'd want to play for a coach who doesn't care about defense in d'antoni. he's gonna stay in cleveland.

And he'd be worth every damn cent. Anywhere this guy goes, he's gonna' be "gold" until further notice.

I know that I'm in the minority, but I'm actually a Kobe fan. I didn't like that tap-dance in Colorado a few years ago, but I've given up on "off field behavior" long ago. If I put THAT into play, there's gonna' be fewer and fewer and fewer professional sports left to follow. So, I've fallen over that sword and burned that bridge...........

That said, back to Kobe. I enjoy watching him play, and he's a "once in a generation" type of player. But, LeBron is NOW the go-to guy in the NBA, perhaps in all of sports. He has officially "taken the mantle" of the best in the game, and I don't see much "looking back" for a while............

Your wrong and you need to look at the other side of the coin..If he wins a championship this year OR next year then he'll want to build an empire and put Cleveland on the map as an NBA team like Jordan did with Chicago. WHen you think of the Bulls..you think of Jordan..LeBron will want that same effect..only with the Cavs. Plus the Cavs are going and have the right, to top any offer. Thanks to the Larry Bird rule

the argument isnt whether he is a better team player, i think kobe is middle of the pack in terms of that in the league, at best! the argument is who is the best individual player, and i think kobe was for the last 2 years, now its lebron and he will hold that crown for way more than the 2 years kobe held it for.

haha, he wouldnt go to the mavs to make money, dallas is a big market, but not huge, plus they dont have the huge fanbase that teams like the lakers, celtics and knicks have. if he left cleveland it would be for one of those three teams. i think lebron can be just as big if he played for milwaukee as new york, maybe not make as much money but close. the NBA is more about the individual and he will have a huge fan base buying up his jerseys and shoes wherever he decides to play, and he will continue to cash in on huge endorsement deals.

i agree, i also think he will stay in cleveland, dont forget his contract would be higher if he resigns with cleveland than if he were to sign elsewhere. like i said before, the endorsements are gonna be there no matter where he plays

the dude signed a 90 million dollar contract with Nike when he was 18 years old. money isn't the problem whether he plays in Cleveland or not. it's about becoming the greatest and winning championships.

exactly, i cant even begin to image the kind of money nike is gonna throw at him once that contract is up

He's a goner out of Cleveland first chance he gets............

BTW, who wants to bet that Cleveland doesn't get past the winner of the Boston/Orlando series?

I'll take that bet. Cleveland doesn't get three wins against the winner of that series.....................

It is Lebron's year, so get your popcorn ready and enjoy the show ;)

I hope your right on the second thing, but I doubt it.

The FIRST thing, the "he's a goner" is already written in stone. So I'll enjoy that Whopper with extra-mayo ON YOU for that one.

The SECOND, that Cleveland won't get into the finals, is a calculated guess. They got LeBron, but Boston and Orlando bring a lot of game "all around' that I don't think that LeBron alone can overcome. I see LeBron James stuck in the "early Micheal Jordan in Chicago" thing, even now. Not enough support to pull it off.

We'll see................
