Twitter: Leon Hall to Visit per Rapoport

I liked both players and if they are 2 or 3-year deals, I would be happy with both. Goldson is more worrysome.

I still want Brandon Boykin though.

Tomorrow Chris long and Leon hall Come in.

Do you know if we could afford both of them? Two year deals?

I've liked Hall since his Michigan days. Cincinnati has tried like 5 times to find his replacement in the draft, but he's resilient and he was still playing solid last year.

I like Long in the run game, but even with the great Dline that the Rams had, he still couldn't get to the QB. But I'd like to have him here. I don't think we'll get him especially after Jones left NE.

I think this is meant for Carr not Ramsey. Why the hate for Ramsey all of a sudden ? I see a lot of board members saying they don't want him

Everyone thinks the MO factor is on play.... Which is ludicrous

Upgrade over Carr or Claiborne. With Scandrick coming back and Jones as an option, if this guy really that much of a difference maker? I don't see any elevation worth getting giddy about.

Jones is FS and Scandy is coming off an injury. We need a #2 CB if nothing else, unless you want Mo starting.

You don't?

I have zero interest in adding Goldson to this roster. I have negative interest in it, in fact.

No, I dont. They are similiar, only Goldson has a fear factor going and hed be cheaper. I just want Church replaced and almost anyone would be an upgrade.

Jones played a lot of CB for a free safety. Folks around here want to spend a #4 pick on a free safety. Why, if we already have a first round pick playing there?

See, it doesn't make sense, does it?

Coming back from missing the entire seaosn with a serious injury and 29 years old. Several corners got very friendly deals this offseason. Like I already said, I don't want the team to throw money at the position, but it was incredibly weak and hasn't been addressed at all. It doesn't just need bodies, the position needs a ton of talent.

That talent is not out there in FA, and the FA's out there aren't worth the money. If Scandrick can come back, he is as good or better than what is available.

We can't pull a CB out of thin air, and the only one that seems to be a hot commodity in the draft is really a FS!

There aren't any players worth getting giddy about left, because most players in the NFL that haven't been suspended or retired twice don't take low base incentive laden contracts.

If you're expecting a "giddy" signing, you're going to be disappointed. That ship has sailed.

But, there are still a few solid football players. From what I'm reading, I still like Hall over Carr. He's a good player.

Isn't that what they said about Carr over Jenkins, or Newman? Like with Murray last year, if he was worth the money he is asking, his old team would have paid it.

doubt hall signs here
will most likely go back to bengals long has already signed with the pats.

Hayward is more than worth the money he got. Carroll got a small, one-year deal. You may also be putting way too much faith in a guy coming back from a serious injury and missing a whole season, while also being 29. Scandrick may never get back to where he was.

I believe he will. He has beat the odds all along. The guy is a high character person that works his butt off. I would never doubt him coming back. Maybe the fact that they haven't broke the bank on a lessor player will tell you what they think of his chances.

I don't know that I would call him "high character", but he is a hard worker.

You keep throwing out this "break the bank" nonsense but the two guys I mentioned, Hayward and Carroll, got very friendly deals.

Jayron Hosley is still out there though.
