jimmy was handicapped with marino...if he could have gotten a real qb things would have been different down there

The problem in Miami wasn't the quarterback or the passing game. Jimmy couldn't find a running back, and couldn't find offensive linemen who were good run blockers. Jimmy basically turned a very good offense into a very bad one. He was successful in turning around the defense, but that wasn't enough to make the team any better in the win column.

I don't believe that Jimmy ran everything in Dallas, and I don't believe that Jimmy didn't have the same control in Miami that he had in Dallas. Your hero failed in Miami. Deal with it.

Mainly because of Bill, we'd be fight with them for the #1 pick every year if Bill would've never came here, which having the #1 pick wouldn't be a bad thing if it weren't for Jerry havin' the final say.

The 49ers look to be headed in the right direction now, I think they have a better shot at winning #6 than we do 2 years from now, and that's very painful for me to say or think about.

Have you watched the niners play recently????? They win some games against some really bad competition and get annihilated by good teams. They have one of the worst defenses in the league, but they are headed in the right direction?????

and for stswasteoftime - "let's get this out in the open"? WHAT??? WHAT THE HELL NEEDS TO BE "in the open"???? we've had several bash jones threads, we've discussed jones w/o end and w/o mercy but suddenly something deep dark and hidden needs to be revealed.

the reason he's on ignore is the only thing that people need to be reminded of.

there are some people such as bb and sts that need comprehension lessons and tutoring on how to get along with others in a public forum before they're allowed to plug their keyboard in.

the rest of us, myself included, need to fight the temptation to argue with narrow minded child-trolls and know when to say "when". i agree, at times it's fun and during the off-season some goold old fashioned troll slapping is fun - esp when the troll doesn't realize how trollish they are. but in the end, the best way to encourage idiocy is to respond to it and give it validity.

even the "level headed" can and will disagree. sometimes vastly and with our own strong opinions. but we still look for the "common ground" and try to talk with respect to those who take the time to respond in a civil manner.

meanwhile, those who do the "firestarter" feel their only level of success *is* the number of times someone told them how ignorant they really are. they can't have success if they didn't cause a rukus.

so great, sts caused a 300+ reply in a thread that has nothing new to offer the world but is titled to make someone think there's possibly a jones-coverup conspiracy or that there's actually valid jones topics that were for some reason never before discussed.

at times all you can do is shake your head and realize some people will end their lives with less intelligence than they came into it with.

edit: You bring up the number of views and posts in this thread, .. since most of them are expressing opinions different than yours or are suggesting what a putz you are, I don't think I would bring up the post count if I were you.
