you didn't bring up a valid point - you brought up an overdiscussed, blindsided argument and then you run around whining like a lost little schoolgirl all upset why no one seems to think your dr suess stance has any merit in the real world. you start off with a topic header that implies someone was trying to hide this "fact" about jones and his abilities.
if you hate jones - FINE! hate away. but do not EVER expect to bag on him in a cowboys newsgroup and suddenly find the world coming to your views with a "ya know, it's never been put that way before, you must be right and we should do something about it!!!!

you called jones a NOVICE - which is impossible based on his years of experience. he can be a terrible GM but novice is just an ignorant choice of words which is simply not possible.
homers didn't come out to defend jones, intelligence came out to slap down ignorance and once again, you went away confused.
we would all appreciate it if you would quit making your "jones-problem" something *we* need to deal with.
