Nothing better to do than spoil for a fight, then play the sheepish "who, me?" game when called on his bs. A tired act that is long past its expiration date. Oh, and he's very hung up on intelligence. Specifically, his big brain over yours. Only "morons" would dare disagree with Yogi. Incredibly, he once cited his moldy, long-since-irrelevant SAT scores in an attempt to score points. Curiously, he has his admirers, but so did Milli Vanilli. Don't debate him; pity him.

I heard myself on TV Eddie George say that Jones wanted him and not parcells, thats why he didnt play alot....heard the same thing come through the media regarding anthony thomas, peerless price and M wiley...most of them from the player himself...anyone with a working knowledge of recent cowboys history would know this...all those who are arguing obviously dont have that.

So what you are saying is you made it up and can not provide one single link to a journalist saying all this? You are the one that said it was in the media now prove it and post some links instead of a blurb from a blog that you edited and didnt link

BigD, would providing a link to a journalist saying all this solve your problem? Probably not. JJT wrote an article about TO and half the posters discredit it any way. You could probably find a dozen articles about TO being forced on BP by Jerry.....discredited by some and believed by others.

Just the nature of the beast, as we believe what we want to hear and discount anything written about something we don't want to believe.

I too recall that BP was not a big fan of Eddie George. Digging through archives is pointless because you'll only attack the writer as being anti-Cowboy, BSPN bashers, etc......

Actually, if you took the time to go back and look at your post history, you may realize why you get the grief that you do get!

I just went back to about 10 of your posts and I realized why...

Grief don't bother me, but 'Bear doesn't need to be warning me about stuff I say when he says thing that are worse, it looks as if Silverbear has been reaping what he sews, and no mod has ever warned me, like I said it's just a futile mind game on his part.

The hate for jones as a GM goes like this....for 10 years he put our team in such a disarray, it took parcells 4 years just to get us out of it! and we are still not there! what did jones do? he only overpaid for one of the biggest busts in recent history...he overpaid for a one year wonder in gurode...he overpaid for brad johnson...who is finished...all jerry does is overpay...he overpaid for rivera,,he was done...he overpaid for henry in my opinion. He hasnt done much but be injured. He overpaid for Roy Williams and now we couldnt get rid of him if we tried! He brought in a player that ran out Parcells! The question is what has he done that has been smart in the last 10 years....and dont get me started on the drafts the last 10 years before parcells got here. Dont get me started on the Galloway trade! Come on man I cant even believe you just made that statement bleustar!?????????????? Do you know anything about football?

So this is what I will say about Jerry. The two things he does consistently.

He latches onto a player, or a theory about a player and nothing gets in his way to stop him from getting him. I.E. Quincy Carter, Tony Dixon. Carver, Ekuban....should I stop now?

He also overpays for mediocre players. Those are the two things he does consistently. If that wins a championship then so be it! LOL....it never will. Bleu Star you need to take out what Bill has done the past 4 years and then look at our team. Dont look at what BP did in talent acquistions and mix it in with the stupid mistakes Jerry has made and say that Jerry is a God.....what a joke...I mean look at all the mistakes Jerry made the past 4 years....Wiley, Price, Anthony Thomas, TO...the list goes on. The thing about it is this. Almost everything that Jerry does individually from a GM standpoint with no help he screws up. You need to face that. He wants to know what to do but he just doesnt and that's the truth. I wish it wasnt so but it is. The only thing he has done right in the past 4 years is hire Parcells and semi-get out of the way.

I'm a Golden Rule kind of Bear, I treat others as they treat me, or in this case, as they treat the board in general... approach us with respect and civility, and you'll get respect and civility in return... but approach us with the intent of stirring the fecal matter, and I'll treat you like a troll...

I deserved the infraction for calling that poster an idiot, I said as much at the time (though infractions are given privately, so as not to embarrass the offender, I fessed up to my transgression publicly-- without naming the mod who did it)... and if I deserved an infraction for "idiot", then you certainly deserved one for "braindeadchild"... as did skinsscalper when he responded, calling you "dumb****"... he should have gotten an infraction for that, too...

And if neither one of you DID get an infraction for that juvenile insult fest, then the mods aren't doing their jobs properly... which I rather doubt, which is why I think you're fibbing to us when you say you didn't get an infraction for that particular insult...

Well maybe you should look closer to his post history, he does say alot of hateful things to others, to me that's sewer level, and that's why he apparently has such a "friendly" relationship with the mods.

But the original point is, that if he can say all the things he says to others and still be allowed in the forum, then I'll be fine here

Not if you don't smarten up, and figure out HOW to sling your insults... as I've said, there's a way that will get the mods on your case, and a way to do more or less the same thing and stay clear of them...

Of course, it takes a certain level of intelligence to figure out where the line is, and a certain level of articulation needed to express yourself within those rules, so it might be a bit much to expect one with limited intelligence to manage that feat... the question now becomes, are YOU one cursed with such a limited intelligence??
