Why wouldn't I?

It's one of the worst defenses in the NFL and the man is back at QB.

It's 35 points or bust.

A win only scoring 20ish was criticized with Rush. It will be coitized with Dak also.

Stop being a 'hater' and a 'troll'. LOL Using similar logic in posts will do nothing as there will always be different levels of grading for Dak.

When I watch the Lions the thing that jumps out about them is those two backs run their tails off. Jared Goff is .. well Jared Goff.. if you give him time he can light you up but he's got to be one of the worst QBs when pressured that I've seen in the past 20 years. He's almost as bad as.. dare I say it? Carson Wentz..

Oh and on defense.. they are just putrid. Our offense should be ashamed if they don't hang 40 on that bunch.

I'm not talking about the Lions exclusively. Saw you touting that that's the standard moving forward or it's a failure lol. Just petty.

In this instance I have to agree with the troll. This offense needs to hang 40 on a defense as bad as the Lions. I MIGHT accept 30 just on the off chance Dak is rusty but they can neither stop the run nor the pass.. The Cowboys should eat them alive using either mode of attack.

....regardless, the record. Goff and Co aren't going to lay down.

I expect a good game. Of course, all eyes will be on Dak.

This could be his breakout of funk game.
The "Funk" is a permanent factor for Dak esp against playoff-bound teams......just ask Pam.:muttley:

No need for quotes. And it's not the same logic whatsoever. You seemed to be turning a corner, but I guess old habits die hard.

Dak's the one that's been talking cocky.

Saying once the offense is healthy (meaning him) that they're going to roll.

He needs to back it up now.
We'll destroy the Lions. Now that the offense has a top 10 QB, elite defense, top 5 offensive line, and a running game to lean on Dak is going to take this offense to another level. I'm guessing we win by 2-3 touchdowns. There's really no reason we shouldn't.

It is the standard.

Is it petty? Maybe.

If ya didn't want this then while were winning games with Rush you should have been trying to chill the people that kept preaching "#1 offensive in the league last year with Dak" and "35 PPG with Dak" out a little.

So, it's 35 PPG the rest of the way or bust.

A win only scoring 20ish points with Dak will be treated with criticism and distain the same way they were treated when Rush was playing.

You're right.

There's no reason at all we shouldn't.

Whoa there Kimo-sabe... Did you see those PFF rankings for our guys Sunday night.. The only one ranked in the top 10 at his position was Steele at 9 .. Martin was 11th.. McGovern was 33 and Smith was 34. Biadasz was 22. I have a hard time believing they're ranked top 10 let alone top 5 at this point.. Where are you seeing that rating?

This will be another test for the defense, not the offense. IMO. The Lions can run the ball effectively, but I do think we will pressure Goff enough to neutralize the passing game.

they are playing well as Group though. better than most weve faced this year OL seems to be killing teams like GB, Cinci, bucs, and LAR etc even NYG had issues with our DL, Eagles are only top OL we have faced,

so when i see our OL as group its nice group..IDC about rankings.

well IF DQ and our D is truly pissed as they have said all that emotional outbursts and penalties last game, they better come out and shut down the run game.

Lions rank 29th in rush defense and are in the middle of the pack on pass defense. Seems like a pretty easy game plan.

Bears rank 31st in rush defense.

Seems to me a pretty clear path to follow and allow Prescott to ease into it and not have to show off much. Of course, we never know what marching orders McC and Moore will be given.

We rank 3rd in sacks given up in the passing game, 4th in getting stuffed in the run game, 2nd in power success (Percentage of runs on third or fourth down, two yards or less to go, that achieved a first down or touchdown. Also includes runs on first-and-goal or second-and-goal from the two-yard line or closer.) And 8th in Adjusted Line Yards. This according to Football Outsiders.

https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/nfl/basic-offensive-line

Fox sports has them at 5th.

https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/nfl-offensive-line-rankings-eagles-chiefs-lead-the-top-five

I mean I may be off by a spot or two but there's really no arguing they are one of the top offensive lines in the league.

On here it will be all garbage stats. We get a lead and never relinquish it. All his stats from that point will be garbage time.

Absolutely. He could destroy Detroit by 40 points and the narrative from some will be “It was just Detroit!!”

Yet if Cooper Rush did the same thing their narrative would be “see! We don’t need Dak!!”

Lol… the test for Dak will not be in regular season wins and losses. It will be what he does in Jan, or what he fails to do.

IMO— Dak could go 11-0 and win the NFCE and while that would be positive, it doesn’t equal a “successful season”. With this D— it is NFCCG or better in order to start the conversation on whether or not expectations have been met.

We are in a weak-sauce NFC and we have a (if they play to their potential) top 5 defensive unit. Gotta win when it matters, against the best competition in order to start to wash off the stank
