The Lions offense has scored a lot of points outside of the Patriots game, so the defense getting pressure on Goff when be the key, just like their pressure was key in the 4 wins the Cowboys have this season.

And this needs to be the game where Dak and the offense gets back on track and starts to improve in their production.

Nope. Just stating facts. But carry on.
Excuses.

35 PPG and #1 offense in the NFL rest of the way or bust.

Cooper Rush was drug through the mud for leading us to enough points to win games and you think Dak is going to just come back and get passes? Nah, don't think so.

Nobody should be interested in "rankings." All we care about is wins.. The issue with Rush wasn't that he was "leading us to enough points to win" it was that he wasn't leading us to enough points to win against a team that could score more than 20 against our defense. Which kind of bore itself out on Sunday. If Dak comes back and the offense continues to only put up 20 ppg we may as well get ready for an early playoff exit because I fully expect these teams that are struggling on offense right now to figure stuff out by January. Dak needs to come back and show us that he can both manage the offense to 20-25 points when the defense is suffocating the opponent as well as strike for 35 points when the other team can score too.

There were those who tried to give Cooper Rush a pass after the game he had against the Eagles. And tried to put the blame on the defense and WRs.

No need for quotes. And it's not the same logic whatsoever. You seemed to be turning a corner, but I guess old habits die hard.

No, just tired of the immature hater and troll comments being tossed around by 'adults'. At the end of the day, we are all supposed to be for team success and not individual success.

I think he was referring to Dak's funk.. He has looked terrible the last two times we saw him.. But according to the folks on the dallascowboys.com podcasts he was razor sharp during his pre-pregame workout Sunday. I expect him to maybe start out off-target a bit until the adrenaline wears off after which I expect him to absolutely strafe the Lions. But not 400 yards and 4 TDs.. I'm talking about 250 yards, 2 TDs, no mistakes and let the running game and defense control things.
He had a bad game...it happens....people need to jump a bit higher and get over it...I'm sure he's never had a bad qame...pathetic

Defense needs to have a big game. If the Lions offense gets on a roll, we won’t be outscoring them.
Their Offense has been pretty good. The defense...Not so much but definitely don't want to get in a shootout with them

Rush was horrible against the Eagles. There no way around it. We needed him to be better that game and he failed.

That doesn't change the fact that he did his job the other 4 games.

I expect Dak to make this offense head and shoulders better and I expect nothing less than that.

The funk is 3 picks thrown by the red headed hero that fans with no clue were hailing

I take it you are referring to the Dallas Cowboys back-up QB Cooper Rush that did his best to assist Dallas to a 4-1 record in Dak's absence and helped to keep Dallas in the playoff hunt? I wanted to confirm as it sounded as if you were referring to a member of another team given the tone and not a Cowboys player who is part of the TEAM.

Yep, playing within the framework of balanced(extreme) run-pass play calls, while leaning on the defense and special teams to do their jobs as well.
For him to be able to not force the offense back to a high volume pass happy attack that ultimately fails is where my entire skepticism lies.

I prefer my crow Medium well.

Dak, you're up and your next 2 opponents are not good and you're at home.

I expect stats to be good.

What I want is smart situational awareness for 4 straight postseason wins.

I doubt him to be able to accomplish his job in how I have described. It's called sacrificing personal ego(and stats) for the sake of winning games.
I need to be proven wrong as do many others.

I am...hes a pro and deserves criticism as much as Dak does. He shouldn't get a pass...every soldier is held accountable, I'm sure you know that...every player needs to be held accountable as well

C'mon now. One game? You know there has been a serious smell coming from QB1 since like game 7 of last year.

At least acknowledge the facts that we have all seen.

Some of us were only pointing out how the offense would eventually need to put up more than 20 points to win some games and that the way the team was winning with Cooper Rush wasn't sustainable and wasn't going to win games against any offense which could put up 25+ points on our defense. This remains the case now that Dak is back and the offense with him is going to have games were they need to score at least in the mid twenties to win games. And there are going to be games where they can't always expect the defense to hold the opposing offense to one TD per game and below 20.

While I agree with the sentiment I question why the need to refer to him as "the red headed hero" and then belittle fellow Dallas fans that supported him. You are better than that.
