Let’s recap: This past May, 10,646 first-time freshman applicants were turned down with GPAs of 4.0 or better. The average GPA of those selected was 4.13, average SAT score was 1407, and the average ACT score was 30. An overall acceptance rate of 19%.
For UCLA (May 2017), the average GPA of admitted applicants was 4.13, average SAT score 1370, and average ACT was 30.
*I know the significance of average in this context is over your head, but that means the top end of the range was much higher than the resulting score averages
