Logan Wilson: Starting MLB in 2026?

So, with the other is it Edge, Safety or CB?

And what do we do to fill what’s left?

I’d fill SAM or MLB in free agency.
With Revel, Carson and Diggs, we're probably good at CB. We can get a good S somewhere else. Williams, Fowler, Clowney, Houston and Donovan E, we're solid at DE.

Our sack leader is Houston at 4.5

We need a real pass rusher. What we have is like an infield platoon where we hope we can just rotate them pray for one to get a hit.

Safety = “Somewhere else” is an approach

And our CBs are an unproven rookie, a guy everyone expects us to designate as a June 1st cut and a serviceable veteran.

None of those positions are even st an average NFL talent level.

Our defense is woefully untalented. A few semi-decent games, two of which are poor to average offenses, is not enough to believe in.

A true 3 down LBer is the biggest need on this roster, IMO. A guy who can do it all. Even with the hybrid 4-2 and so forth most teams are running now, we need a bigger guy who can play in the box but still has the speed to go sideline to sideline.

They must be hoping Agent O can be that guy but I'd like to see him make it through a season first.

He will be 30 before the start of the 2026 season.
- Speed is a question mark at this point.
- Salary for 2026 is 6M.

Other options:
Quay Walker not tendered 5th year option by GB because they don't want to pay him 14M per.
- He has missed the past 2 games with a injury issue "stinger".
- Age 25

Quincy Williams will be 30 before next season.

I think we need to upgrade LB. I would rather have him as a backup/rotational player rather than a starter.

I don’t remember what is salary numbers are but his salary might eliminate him being a backup. Based purely on performance I would like to see him upgraded.

No. He was benched for a reason. He lacks speed and quickness. Better than what was previously there? Maybe just on reaction and football iq. But Dallas should look to upgrade there.

Well I envisioned us finding a Campbell like Eagles did who can come right in but last game he got no snaps and looks to be hitting a rookie wall. Might need Wilson.
I think it’s mainly because Nakobe Dean returned from injury several games ago and is no longer on a snap count. Add in the return of Nolan Smith and the Phillips trade and there aren’t many snaps available.

Campbell has been and will be a good player for them.

Dean will be a UFA this offseason, wonder if Philly re-signs him or let's him walk because they have Campbell n Baun. Kinda smallish for a MLB, but a solid player.

No! He is slow. Just let them get a few starters in the draft i bet they trade down once and get a 3rd. We will get a mlb in the draft imo

Never was a fan of Campbell cause his poor instincts, appears he isn’t even playing anymore either Dean back from injury.

Good question…he does have an injury history and has missed 17 games in a little less than 4 seasons. The flip side is when he is healthy, he is really good and perfect for our needs.

I would be surprised if they sign him long term with Campbell waiting. They have a lot of big salary decisions in the next few years.

I would also be surprised if he signs a 1 year, team friendly, prove it deal. He is young and coming off his rookie contract and would likely want some stability.

I guess it depends on how he looks the remainder of the year and his salary demands.

It's not that big a deal hernia surgery it only takes 30 days to recover him having an entire offseason he'll be back for practices and camps for whatever team he's on I already had the surgery I know...

But that is the reason they tell people to hold out and get on a long-term contract because you can get injured it happened to Prescott on the franchise tag it can happen to anyone And he was a team player he took a little extra bonus money and he was a trooper he didn't force a trade he didn't make a speckled out of himself he went and tried to play it's been a bad season for the Bengals and he's trying to fight through it and you can play with a hernia it doesn't feel good But I wore this thing called a jockstrap thing and it has like a little egg you put and it presses in on the hernia so it can't poke out and it keeps that area stable It's not that big a deal yes it will be limiting for a professional athlete but I play sports on my weekend warrior and it didn't really hold me back..
The surgery isn’t a huge deal but his age and the fact he’s probably not an every down player soon will effect his contract
