We can't tell from watching on TV, but I'd like to know if the WR's were getting open. I have a feeling that they weren't.

He only has one reliable WR and One reliable TE.:D

You know there is a difference between what a QB sees and what you see on TV..... QB has defenders rushing at him, he's got his entire O-line in front of him. You're probably one of those fans who thought we should have kept Quincy Carter....

So in your eyes theirs no such thing as choking or bad pass because we don't see what the QB see. When they throw a interception why talk about it,because hey we don't see what he sees...

When you have 20+ QB pressures and 6 sacks it's not the QB's fault. It's the O line. If you can find me a QB that won't turn over the ball and play like garbage when defenders are essentially camped in your backfield then you'd make one hell of a GM. Football 101: A QB can't do anything without O-line protection.

Can't argue that. But some will.

Peyton Manning would "choke" if the pocket collapsed on virtually every play. You get to any QB enough times and they will look mediocre. Remember what Dallas did to Matt Ryan in the Atlanta game? He was supposed to be the second coming.

I was gonna say... I dunno if Romo choked or if the line was just too porous
or if receivers werent getting open or what....

But when I was that Q_the_man was dogging on Romo I just LMAO and dismissed it.

So I guess since it was a great called game bring back the whole coaching staff. Just fire the OL coach..... And all that about me saying I don't know what I'm talking about. talking smack you guys are in the same boat, at least I have family in the NFL and played 4 years for the boys and heard the stories....first hand about Romo, TO and everyone else....

BTW, I'm looking at game again...
First drive ball on 35 1st and 10, good protection, Romo holds ball to long instead of hanging in the pocket and stepping up he gets scared, looks lost, and fumbles....

2nd possesion ball on the 40, good protection, panicks and throws ball away.. then fumble snaps, no one touches him.....then instead of going for it on 4th and 1 we try a 50 yard FG---I know it was 48 but come on 4th and 1.....

3rd possesion, 1st and goal, 1st play wildcat, stupid...2nd and goal from the 8 shotgun formation, then 3 steps drop, panicks again, all he has to do is step up to the right had a whole passing lane, but spins left and gets sack... 3rd and goal from the 14, shotgun formation, drops back panicks again, all he had to do was step up and hit crayton over middle for TD, but Romo spins left again and throws ball away......

The only reason why I bring this up because while looking at game I saw the same thing so I just had to watch the first 3 series again because that to me was the telling point of the game to me.... 3 times in scoring position, one lousy FG...

While they were getting a little pressure it was coming from containment outside and Romo kept rolling right in to it....TO me looking at game again at least the first 3 series of the game Romo looked scared and lost...

I have nothing to add to this discussion, but...

please have your username changed already. please. I have since let go of my old one ("Charlie the Tuna", hehe)

Unless you've actually played NFL QB and have experience in such situations where you can definatively say "he just had to step up" I'm afraid I'm not going to put much stock in your idea that he choked cause he could have just 'stepped up".

Interesting cause two of his fumbles came when he was getting sacked so either your one of those folks who changes history to fit their opinion or you just like sounding stupid.

I think it's already been established this guy doesn't care what really happened. It's much more fun to just make stuff up.

With that....Welcome to Ignore! You've just joined a elite group of idiots that I no longer waste my time on. Congrats!

BTW: Where do these people come from? I may not post everyday but I'm here all the time and I don't recall seeing many of the doom and gloom posters back when we were rolling. Guess the Doom and Gloom crowd didn't have much to ***** about till now.

You like that word choke. Didn't see a receiver - choke. Spun into pressure - choke. Fumbled with nobody touching him - choke. So, I present to you Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Brett Favre all chokers at one time or another in a playoff game or 2 or 3.

I sense something deeper here and it has nothing to do with Romo choking but everything to do with Romo and I think you know what I mean.

Bad game - yes. Underperformed - yep. Didn't handle the pressure - absolutely. Choke - thats personal.

Therefore I do not take you seriously, I do take you as a hater with an agenda against Romo and that is sad.

Well see we were doing well during that 4 game win streak, and now that we've lost a game they come outta the wood work. You watch same thing will happen when we lose a preseason game, they'll all come out and claim Romo choked because he got benched after one or two drives and that it's his fault some 3rd string QB couldn't "step up". :laugh2: There are some fans out there who are just plain ole stupid.

Well that much was obvious before even reading the post. This is another one of those guys that you don't see around here for weeks at a time and only shows up if there is something for him to try and blame on Romo.

He should never be taken seriously cause he's made it perfectly clear he has no idea what he's talking about.

I hate people who bash Romo, because the fact of the matter is he's the best QB we've had since Aikman and good luck to anyone trying to find another QB. There are probably 20 teams out there who would trade a good number of picks for a QB like Romo (Chicago gave up 2 1st rounders and a 3rd rounder for Cutler, I could see someone giving up even more for Romo). In the end Romo is a great QB, better than Quincy or Henson or Testaverde or Bledsoe or etc. etc., and to bash the best QB that your team's had since the last HoF one left is idiotic at best.

The problem with the thread starter is he's just like all little kids who see that other boy with a slightly better toy and wants to throw a tantrum because his isn't the exact shade of blue he wants it to be. Cmon little boy, his toy has one extra little sticker on it and maybe a little darker blue, you've still got one hell of a toy that does the exact same damn thing.:bang2:
