Agreed, but I'd rather go into the draft knowing I have him then not...Hankins is a vet minimum guy at this point in his career. They’d be better off finding an upgrade.

Well the Colts just traded Gilmore for a 5th round comp. I don't think that's indicative of how well he played for them.Based on what? He signed a 1.3 million contract last year with the Raiders and they traded him halfway through the season for a late 6th round pick.
Makes you wonder how an older guy with a limited market is dragging his feet lol.
Must be seeing if he can get above market value
Why? 2 year deal would most likely be backloaded the 2nd year to make it easy to walk away from if/when they’re able to draft a replacement. Seems better option would be one year with as much guaranteed as he can haggle! His market value in terms of money is probably set. I'm thinking he's trying to get a 2 year deal instead of the customary Jones favored 1 year deal
funnyJerry Jones owns the Cowboys, not the Patriots.

I’d rather get a guy with pass rush and run stuffing skills but that’s really hard to doGood! Then go get a young “Hankins” in the draft as well
Not reallyProblem here is, this means they'll go into the draft thinking they have that position filled. It's been this way for years.
We was right in the middle of the league in yards per carry given up. Tied with the Super Bowl champsGreat to have him back but keep looking, at crunch time this D could not stop the run, hope they get another thumping LB in the draft or trade.
Yeah stats are nice but at the end of some games when we needed a stop, the run D folded. We was right in the middle of the league in yards per carry given up. Tied with the Super Bowl champs
